Carpet in the hallway from lift to rooms were so dirty.

Hotel was in the perfect location for visit to the O2 Academy,2 mins walk.Staff were nice(girl on reception hard to understand)I felt rude because I kept asking her to repeat herself)but plain sailing checking in and ordering a drink.Room was clean,bed was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic.Breakfast was really good aswell not a huge selection of hot food no problem what was there was nice and good coffee.No problems ordering a taxi to the airport either with reception. I liked that you can't access the stairs or some doors without your room key gave us a secure feeling.

Cleanliness and maintenance needs a bit of work

Outside the hotel the area is rundown with a lot of empty office properties. Also very close to a petrol station which did not have a clean environment.

The staff, were super friendly and very helpful. The rooms were a good size, with clean bedding and plenty of lighting.

It was a little noisy if you had the window open from the road traffic below.

Staff were really very pleasant. Really liked the bar area though we didn't spend much time there, but it was fun watching the games and gave a good atmosphere. The location isn't lovely, but it was fine, and convenient to the station, and local area for restaurants etc. Rooms were basic but comfortable. We were on the 7th floor and there was no noise from the bar. I would definitely stay there again. It was good value for money.

The bathroom smelled a little like damp.

Room was practical and stylish, with a very comfy bed and a big flat-screen tv packed with movies. The desk and hanging facilities were also very functional. Location was perfect, 10 mins on foot to New Street, close to 24/7 shops and eateries and to public transport and attractions.

Parking arrangements were difficult

Hotel was well located near New Street Station. Room was as expected for a Penta Hotel. The bar area was good.

Room was too hot, air conditioning did not work properly. Could not open window due to traffic noise. Bathroom extract was noisy and filled with dust.

You can hear most things that are happening in the hallways surrounding the room. I Would recommend door dampeners to stop them slamming and maybe soundproofing doors in high traffic areas as they did disturb us throughout the night (fifth floor)

Prime location, easy check in and out. Lovely staff and very nice room with amazing wet room style shower, 100% worth the value for money and will definitely be staying again.

Enjoyed our stay apart from the road noise, it was horrendous and room was too hot/stuffy to shut windows. Bar costs were very expensive, we expected to pay more than other pubs/bars but £39.95 for a bottle of prosecco and around £8 for a pint of lager is madness.

Location for bars and bullring shopping centre was excellent. We loved the 1st floor lounge area.

For the price it was a bit basic,the restaurant was very expensive and they didn’t take cash. There was a lot of banging around late at night, early morning, which made me jump every time.

The room was totally fine for what I needed but the air conditioning control wasn’t working so I couldn’t adapt the room temperature. The television was coming up with a black screen on any of the channels I had chosen to watch.

The main area and breakfast lounge are very modern and well decorated and a lot of things to do if you’re spending an amount of time in the place or perhaps with more travellers. Both the members of staff that I checked in and out with were very nice to speak to.

Toilet flush properly and instructions for heating to turn off but only minor issues. I would use this hotel again.

Great location and clean hotel. Bar is lively, staff very friendly and polite. Only issue was the toilet didn’t flush properly and the heating wouldn’t turn off. Was no instructions for it either. Had to go to reception at midnight for someone to turn it off as we was melting! I would recommend this hotel and I would stay again.

The price of the car park as well as the stay is a bit steep. Pillows need updating as my partner had one cushion and one pillow.

It was close to the O2 and order our own food to be delivered.

It felt a bit grubby. Stained carpets. Marks on the walls. Staff we not overly friendly.

Good location for O2 academy and the bull ring. Room was a good size. Loved the decor of downstairs areas. The best thing about this stay was breakfast! So many different options for lots of different dietary requirements.
