Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Atefa the lady at the reception was very nice and helpful although she had to deal with several clients at the same time. The room was cozy and small. Nicely decorated and equipped. Beds aee comfortable. The location was outstanding.

GermanyThe bathroom sink was a little too small. The mattress a little too hard. I would have preferred to have a real soap bar instead of liquid soap from a dispenser, but I am nit picking.
The room was small, but all the essentials were there. It was clean, pleasant and airy. I liked bare floorboards - more hygienic than carpet. The window could be opened to let fresh air in. The location was quiet. This is the heart of London, and for that this hotel delivers the most important thing: a welcome place to have a relaxing night's sleep. Thank you.

United Kingdomthe air con unit in our room (304) didn’t really work, the blow only came out of one corner and sometimes just didn’t blow out any air, along with it not being that cold. the window handle was also broken so we couldn’t actually ‘lock’ our window closed when we went out. had a slight issue where the man behind reception was reluctant to provide another duvet when we went down to request one. we were provided one in the end but the initial response was excuses to avoid fulfilling the request.
good location and facilities for intended stay. breakfast wasn’t a must so wasn’t an issue that it’s not an option. a large and up to date TV which could connect/screen mirror a lot of streaming apps from my personal ipad. FULL SIZED TOWELS!! much better than the tiny paper thin ones you find at the likes of premier inn.

United KingdomMy only criticism was the bed a bit to hard for me and the shower space was small, so when having a shower, water was spilling on to the floor.I think room 211 shower needs to be looked at and sorted , because the gap at the bottom is why water spills onto the floor.

Excellent location. Room was very clean, bit small but had many amenities. Staff was very friendly especially cleaners and reception staff. Close to two tube stations, Circle line stop literally outside the hotel. A lot of food options near as well. I absolutely recommend it.

IrelandCleaners were shouting and very loud outside our door at 8am on Sunday morning and woke us up. Air conditioning wouldn’t turn on for longer than 1 minute so it was very hot in the room.
Location was excellent, close to Bayswater and Queensway underground stations and in a nice area. Room was clean but was really small but it was worth what we paid for it.

I understand that the most was being made of limited space and it was a budget room but it was somewhat claustrophobic for me. It would be helpful to flag up the lack of outside windows on the description for booking.
