Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomOn the whole there wasn't much to dislike, i guess if being picky I would suggest having a chair or 2 in the twin/double rooms, ensuite design was small but functional but as i say that's being picky. Neither of these really bothered me on our short stay.
Good location for our stay, staff friendly, rooms clean, comfy and functional. The restaurant was very busy on arrival but we managed to get a table and the food certainly didn't disappoint "you can see why it's so popular", also a good selection of drinks at the bar.

Wow, what a place. It's like a museum. The atmosphere in the bar and restaurant is fantastic. The food is very very good. The pies are fantastic. The bedroom was a good size and comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but large enough.

United KingdomThe corridors/stairs to the rooms are badly lit. The bulbs are on timers which did not stay on long enough and a very dim. The one near the top of the stairs does not come on until you are right there and as there are no windows it is very dark. I applaud their trying to save energy but the timers do need to be looked at. The carpark is small for the amount of patrons and again is not well lit making parking in the tight spaces in the dark difficult
We found this place a while ago. The food is really good, their steak pies are exceptional. The rooms are clean and comfortable although I little on the basic side but have everything you need for an ovewrnight stay. The beer is good and the staff are friendly. It does get very busy so you do need to book

I decided to stay overnight as I was meeting some friends and we were eating at the Pie Factory. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. It proved to be a good idea to stop over and travel home the next morning. I was happy with the room, which was clean ,tidy and had everything I expected.

United KingdomThe bathroom light is on a motion sensor, which is OK to visit the loo at night but not so good when you’re showering and it goes out when you have soap all over your face!! This needs to be changed to a manual switch.
The accommodation was basic, but clean and tidy. The restaurant was exceptional.
