The breakfast wasn’t great but the restaurant food was really good. I thought the hotel was quite expensive for what it was. £995 for 4 nights. Maybe was because it was a Marathon weekend.

Really good location for getting into town but also beach time and close to A1. Really accommodating for dogs and staff really nice and friendly. Very helpful. Beds were really comfortable.

It is nearly half an hour from downtown, which was an unexpected bummer. The room was very hot and stuffy, making it tough to sleep, even after borrowing a fan from the front desk. The bathroom was exceptionally small, and the halls were a bit dingy. We were on our honeymoon and this was also the only hotel out of 7 that didn't offer anything (for purchase or otherwise), to make the stay a little special.

It was a nice, comfortable room to stay in! We enjoyed the size of the room itself

Your guys are ace, thanks to all .. W Pinn

I arrived late in the evening, I met Stuart at reception, he’s your night guy and very efficient. I was raining and miserable. Checked and said I’ll need to go to the far car park and collect my luggage and a few things. I had been at my car only a few minutes when I heard a friendly voice in the dark, it was Stuart with an umbrella. Thank you Stuart. W Pinn

A bit bland and uninteresting building. Breakfast was ok and of very average/mediocre quality, poor selection of pastries.

Comfortable, well located for buses to central Edinburgh, free and ample parking. Check-in time syste for breakfast worked well, with no waits and breakfast room not crowded.

The room had no fridge and no toiletries other than soap. They had part of the breakfast area designated as dog friendly and you had to access it from a different door so the dogs wouldn’t be in the food area which makes sense but it was a buffet and as a solo Traveller with dog I couldn’t in good conscience go up to get food and leave my dog alone at the table unsupervised and no staff came by to offer assistance, so the breakfast was lost on me.

The room was large and comfortable, parking was great, front desk staff were helpful. Loved the dog friendly guide and treats. Good location. Wish I had more time to enjoy the spa services.

Not enough parking, not enough disabled spaces either. The lay out of rooms is just very strange with small up and down stairs and corridors. It's a bit pricey seen as it's not city centre or near it really.

    Good pool facilities, beds comfortable.

Room was quite small for 3 people

All staff were excellent in every way - special thanks to Linda at breakfast and Riley at dinner. Well equipped room. Room to relax in foyer. Variety of enjoyable meals at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoyed the pool and sauna. Tennis looked great, but we ran out of time. Great position to all on offer in Edinburgh.

No plugs or USB sockets by the bed. The floor was uneven and creaky in places.

Easy to find with lots of parking, the electric car charger worked well (3pin + type 2). Spacious and quiet room with nice en suite. Good location for getting into Edinbrugh. We enjoyed the swimming pool facilities and the staff were very helpful.

Found it hard to connect to the tv, we spoke to the assistant manager who was very nice and helpful and described how to do it. Lucky my partner is tech savvy as I don’t know if I would have figured it out.

The room was good, spacious and comfortable. Only a short bus ride in to the city.

The floor boards creak badly when walking on the floor. Hard to sneak around at night.

The room was big enough for the 2 of us. The bed & pillows were also comfortable. The Food was good in the restaurant and the staff excellent. The location was great with a bus stop right outside the Hotel which made it easy to get into downtown Edinburgh

States online that room service is 24 hours. That is not the case. There’s no in room menu and nothing online re the menu so it’s actually quite difficult to order. We ended up calling reception and to be fair, they brought us a menu but we only had about 10 minutes to decide as last orders are at 8:45. Food was good when it arrived but wasn’t as stress free as I would have liked. A simple update to the website and a menu available in the room would solve that.

Excellent facilities, amazing room size! Good in-room tea and coffee selection, with additional available at reception which is unusual. Breakfast was really good and the staff there were extremely helpful. We used the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and were really happy with the facilities - very impressive to be honest.

The room was absolutely boiling with the sun hitting the windows.

Free car charging they provide for their customers is a great plus for us. Location is obviously a bit outside the city centre but it was still okay. Room is very spacious. Clearly an old hotel but still kept up enough.
