The steps but the staff helped. We were aware of the steps before we came but they would not be enough to stop us from coming again

The staff were incredibly helpful. The pub had real character and it was a great location

That we could only stay one night.

When we arrived later in the afternoon, the pub was full of football fans...Go Celtics!...and there were musicians playing music at one of the tables and everyone was having a good time....unfortunately, after having been awake for over 24 hrs, we just weren't ready for joining that amazing experience. So, what happened... my wife and I walked upstairs to the second floor, hoping to find someone not busy with the crowd downstairs... we did... John was fantastic...he offered us a drink, while I went back downstairs to try and check in. After having been gone for a good long while, John came searching for me to let me know that we would be able to check in shortly, and until then, we could sit upstairs and order something to eat while we wait to check in. My wife and I can't thank John enough for his kindness and more than welcoming presence....really well done as far as our introduction to the city of Glasgow. Also, I can't say enough about the courtesy and kindness of Molly!

I didn't like leaving, the hospitality was so great. If you have the pleasure of being served by James or any of the others, consider yourself lucky. Wonderful crowd.

We had an excellent time at the location. The staff were amazing - so accommodating. The rooms are up two flights of stairs and my mom is terrible at stairs, but we had a great time anyway. Thank you!

I was not sure about the green light in the entrance of the room (emergency exit light?) which is (for me) too bright at night thats why I put a blanket on top of it at night.

Super nice location, despite central, I found it quiet at night. Super staff, helpful and friendly.

    Nothing. All good

Great location in centre of city and easy to access. Small free car park on-site unlike major chains. Staff are great and always go above and beyond to help. Breakfast good and pub great for a pint after work. Will always stay here when in Glasgow.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. We arrived early but they were happy to look after our luggage for us and gave great suggestions of things to do in Glasgow. We needed to leave early the next morning, before breakfast, but they went out of their way to make us a breakfast tray that we could enjoy before we left. Bar has a great atmosphere and is far enough from the rooms that you can't hear any noise. Great location. All in all, a great stay

Only one bad point, the shower water was barely warm.

The room was really tidy with all the necessary furniture, the food at the pub was really good. The atmosphere is really Scottish, so I think it is worth a visit. The room was well isolated in therm of acoustic, considering that when I was there at the same time in the pub, there was a full band of musicians playing, but I can't hear them fron the room.

There was nothing we didn’t like about it. The only thing that was not ideal is, if you have mobility or accessibility requirements as there are lots of stairs to climb and no lift, as it’s an old building.

Great location, very central for bars and restaurants. It is a busy pub/restaurant and check in was done at the bar, but was quick and efficient with great customer service. The room was clean and comfortable and met our needs for an overnight stay and l the continental breakfast was delicious.

Our room looked out on to the street, at closing time a few stragglers hung about chatting quite loudly just under our room, so that put a damper on the stay, apart from that it would have been great

Room spotless, breakfast had a great choice, staff very friendly
