We had a bottle of wine in the bar afterwards. The later receptionist was joined by a male and they proceeded to watch a video loudly on an ipad - it is bad enough when other guests do that - but the staff? This is really inconsiderate when guests are trying to enjoy a quiet drink.

The location is superb 100 meters from a metro station. Rooms are large and clean. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast is superb. I would definitely stay again in the hotel.

There was a lack of toiletries in the bathroom- no shampoo or conditioner. No shower cap or even proper soap. Room was small but adequate. No downstairs area to sit as hotel being renovated. Breakfast was fine but hot drinks were luke warm and no decent coffee/tea. Needed more fresh fruit and variety of cereal.

The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The area was quiet but was close to good transport links. The reception staff were very helpful.

The garage is terrible to park. You need luck to find a good spot. It would be nice to include the name of the products for the breakfast. It would make the life of guests with limitations (pregnants, allergics) easier. Staff with limited english knowledge.

The room is according to Mercure standards and was very well cleaned. The location is nice, just in front of Metro station with easy access to city center.

The bathroom was still okay but to our standard it needed a renewal.

We has one of the las room at the end of the corridor. There was another security door before entering our room. I liked it very much as it isolated more any noise coming from the corridor. The room was super, good quality furnitures and looked new.

There are some strange people around the garage entry but we never had any issues.

The hotel location is perfect if you are coming by car, want to securily park it and then mostly go by the public transport. The locked underground garage is quite comfortable and the underground station near it offers direct access to both lines. The level of comfort is good and is typical for the Mercure chain.

Not quite as clean as is normal for a nice property like that. Not bad, just not up to standards.

Like others have said, great location. It’s right at a major public transport junction. Lots of subway, tram, and bus lines all converge there. And it’s much more pleasant a spot than around the train stations. Great restaurants a 10 minute walk to the west. Very secure parking for 14 euros per night.

Noise as they undergo renovation A little too much group business traveler focused. Didn’t seem to accommodate needs of solo travelers for business. Not very impressive and found overpriced considered the most recent property I stayed in located close to gare perranche. While I need location nearer Gare part-Dieu. I’d likely not stay at this hotel again.
