How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location was great next to the cathedral, and the inside hotel was very modern and comfortable. Madame Marie was very welcoming, warm and kind. She brought us delicious breakfasts and helped us. Unforgettable stay.

The location was amazing, right next to the stairs leading to the Cathedral. We were a bit daunted by the approach to the accommodations but we happily made it through the narrow streets without mishap. Our room was quiet and comfortable and breakfast was delicious.

It is not easy to find the structure. The car navigator takes you off the road
Structure in an extraordinary position. Practically next to the sanctuary. The owner is very courteous and personable. Good breakfast served in a small very intimate room

Not a thing.
Unbelievable location right next to the cathedral, perfect place for walking to the upper level or lower level of Rocamadour. Apartment was modern and clean, owner was SO kind and accommodating.

Arrived at the property and was welcomed so warmly by our lovely host Marie. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was ample. Fantastic location. Highly recommend.

We were greeted by Maree who is a fabulous host, so welcoming. She couldn’t do enough for us. She gave us good choices for dinner. The property is in a wonderful location and free parking close by is a bonus. The room was lovely, breakfast was excellent. We had a great stay.

We could have benefitted from more information about the opening times of the restaurant opposite the house.
Breakfast was personally served by the hostess. The location - inside the heart of Rocamadour - was stunning.

The location, free parking, kitchenette, the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, very clean, Marie personally delivers contential breakfast every morning, she is very knowledgeable about the whole area, and was happy to share this. Overall one of the best 2 night stays on our road trip.

The bed was to soft for my liking. The room was small but clean and on the ground level. there was a little dirt from someone's shoes in the bathroom. There was only two proper towels and no towel for my hair. No face cloth to wash my face and no shower gant to wash my self. There was a tiny bottle of soap for two people to use for showering and for washing our hair.
Marie was very welcoming and available if we had questions or needed anything. The Breakfast was fantastic and the location was right beside the cathedral. With this accommodation there was prime parking which was very convenient.

Nothing comes to mind in terms of improvement opportunities, of our 11 day trip, this was the best place at which we stayed.
Breakfast was fine, typical continental style. Location was excellent, right next to the church on the second level of the city. Just be aware that from the bottom of the city it's about 100 steps up to the apartment (didn't bother us at all). Parking is free and about 20 meters from the door, excellent and safe location. Easy to get into the apartment with codes, seems recently renovated and in general a really good experience. Highly recommended. The host very attentive and lives next door for easy access for questions.

from her communication, to her welcome, delicious practice and kindness all around, Marie made our visit to Rocamadour very special. Her apartments are in the quieter part of town up near the sanctuary and it was perfect for our first time in this lovely place. We enjoyed being so close to the sanctuary and also having parking nearby

What an amazing place to stay! We loved the location and were thrilled to walk the paths of Rocamadour in the evening hours to enjoy the peace and beauty of the gardens and views. The breakfast every morning was presented beautifully and was delicious!
