It was all great.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Le Pelican, a pleasant six minute walk from the old town of Annecy. The room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were attentive to our request for a quieter room when we found our initial room overlooked a metal walkway to the front patio, which was pretty noisy. Lauren, at the front desk, was very friendly and helpful and suggested a couple of very good restaurants in the old town. We found a taxi from a train station taxi stand and a return trip via the “Bolt” app rideshare (suggested by someone at the hotel) to be better cheaper and faster than Uber. Breakfast was definitely worth including in the room rate, as they had ample self-service breakfast offerings in their lovely “O Bon Bec” gourmet bistro space which in nice weather would appear to include access to the outdoor patio. The hotel has a convenient space off the lobby where a local artisan bakery sells bread, sandwiches, pastries and beverages. Only after returning to the US did we discover that a wing of the hotel is actually a listed heritage building, it blends so seamle

While the room layout was great, the decor was bizarre; too many colors, sparkles, feathers, silly light fixtures. Breakfast was mediocre. Very strange scrambled eggs??? Not one person of the restaurant staff smiled. They all looked unhappy. The combo shampoo/body wash was cheap and not very good. For the price, separate shampoo and conditioner would be nice.

The room was large and the layout was great. Lots of clever storage. The terrace was amazing!!! Would comeback just for that. While the hotel is on a busy street. it was relatively quiet ; close enough to make frequent walks to the old city, but far enough to be away from the crowds. The pool was lovely. The place was exceptionally clean.

we were on a low floor at a room far to the back, so the view was not too great out of the window.

we loved the outdoor heated pool, and there was a nice terrace and outdoor bar and we enjoyed that there was a bakery connected in the lobby. It was in a nice location for walking around the lake, not in the busy centre, but just a few minutes walk in for dinner.

Well appointed, friendly helpful staff, Excellent restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Had on site parking for a fee. Great to have it underground using the same elevator as our room especially since it was raining.

Very clean and comfortable room. Easy to access the hotel from the driveway at the front, straight to the elevator. The bed was very comfortable and the room was air-conditioned with a very effective unit we were able to adjust ourselves. We did not use the pool but it looked lovely. We didn't have the buffet breakfast either. Instead we bought coffee and pastries from the little bakery in the foyer which is great. We also bought sandwiches there to take with us for lunch and they were also delicious. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We would most definitely return again. We forgot to book parking and there was no availability when we arrived however we had no trouble finding free street parking close by.

The room was lovely but given the cost per night could have been better stocked with soap(s) for the bathroom, tissues, extra loo roll, extra coffeepods and tea.

The staff go the extra mile for you and were wonderful.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

The hotel was in a good location with lovely views of the lake from the breakfast/dining area. It was a clean hotel. The cafe in the hotel was a bonus serving food and drinks all day. The restaurant served nice food and wine. The staff were extremely helpful.

We requested a quiet room, and we were given a room near the entrance to the pool area. You could actually see the people walking to the pool from our window —not much privacy if the curtains were open.

I enjoyed the location and lounge area. The food was okay, and the staff was very kind and accommodating.
