Perfect for a short stay near the train station. The rooms are better than in most ibis.

There were staff members smoking in reception, which was unpleasant as you could not avoid it. There are 8 steps before the lift, so it is a pain with cases. The area around the hotel was a bit unsettling, with lots of broken car glass on the pavement. The soundproofing was awful. I could hear people in their bathrooms. There was an extremely limited bar, no red wine! No restaurant either.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was nice. Reception and cleaning staff were friendly. The view was nice over the river and it was close to the town and train station and trams.

No coffee tea refreshments in room.. no glasses for drinking water. Kettle for hearing water was provided on request. But was dirty with burnt residue related to previous use. The staff did replace with a clean one immediately on making a complaint. Colleague who was traveling with me had a bad experience.. her room had stink related to smoking in the room... Again room was changed on making a complaint.

The blanket/duvet cover was too small for 2 people.

The location was perfect for us. Less than 5 minutes walk from the train station. Surprisingly quiet. Reasonable breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We had lots of difficulty finding the location of the hotel as the streets in Grenoble can be very complicated at interseections and it was raining, and at night, when we were trying to find the hotel.

Hotel Room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was also good.

The room was cold even if I kept the heating going all the night. No additional blanket available.

Accommodation was what we expected for an ibis. however, Grenoble itself has gone downhill and not the town it was. A lot of damage from recent protests too.

Location and secure parking. Breakfast was very good. Typical ibis room, good enough for one night stay.

Everything was as we expected it to be!

Room was lovely, perfect location for walking into the town. Lovely views of the mountains from the bedroom also. Staff were very friendly, which made for a quick and easy check in. Breakfast was pretty standard, I liked that they offered soya milk. Suited all of our needs for a nights stop in the city!

Breakfast is rather poor. I mean, we are in France, aren't we? Outsidw of poor breakfast, you can't get anything. No vending machine for water or snacks, not even peanuts.

People are great. They tried to help everytime we needed soething and went out of their call of duty to do so :)

The bathroom could have been cleaner. There was some mildew in the shower and mildew under the rim of the toilet. The initial supply of toilet paper was a bit limited, though it was replenished after the first evening.

Great location --- only a few minutes walk from the railway station and close to the river and the old town. Very nice view on the river side of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English.

Unfortunately, guests smoke. Or someone else. The smell was in the corridor and in the room. I do not understand how the smoking policy can be followed in other hotels (Ibis as well) but not in this one. Sadly that the guests (or those who smoked) do not respect other guests at all. In the lobby it does not smell at all.

Wifi connection was not the greatest, but it worked. One of the employees was reading a book in the canteen during working hours while we were eating breakfast which made us a bit confused…

The location is great, literally 5 minutes to the main bus station and local shops. Fresh breakfast, very comfortable bed, spacious room and plenty of towels available in the room. The Hotel is in pretty old standard however the cleanliness level was superb.
