How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. It was out of the way for the town. We had to get a taxi everywhere. The breakfast was very basic. Mostly bread items. We missed having a kettle in the room. But I know it was basic.

They don’t serve lunch and dinner only breakfast The tv don’t have much internet so you can’t access YouTube or Netflix plus no kids channel
The hotel is okay but they should provide lunch and dinner because the restaurants are really far

The room is too small but every corner was used to make your stay comfortable
As shown in the images. Location was not as bad as written in the older reviews. Breakfast was great.

When returning to hotel 11 pm at night with our family from the metro station the area felt a little dodgy. However, we experienced no trouble so needn’t have worried. The rooms are tiny but that didn’t bother us because we spent all day and evening out and about.
A bunk bed was provided to have an extra child in room. It was an easy Uber ride to CDG airport.

They charged us 17,50€ for the tax even though in the booking app says 13€. We paid in cash and then several times (checking in in the other room, every morning before breakfast) we were asked by the staff (also from the girl that took our money) to pay again for the tax. If you pay in cash they don’t give you a receipt or something that proves that you have paid. So I would recommend you to pay the tax by card. The windows in the room were not opening. We needed to change 2 rooms because the girl on the reception didn’t checked us right when we arrived so we were not able to enter the room at night. Thanks god that the reception works 24/7 and the nice man gave us another room. He asked us again to pay the tax but we explained the situation.
It was clean and the breakfast was delicious.

Staff was rude, family room for 4 could accommodate only 3 with couch for 3rd person, heaters were off hence too cold. No warm water upon request. Breakfast was okay but not good

The personnel was not very helpful, i guess it is the French way? They did not even ask for my ID when we checked in/out, we couldn’t t get the elevator to work at first, we asked the receptionists about 3 times until he gave as an answer that helped, if you don’t go and ask specifically, they will just see you standing around awkwardly and continue working on their computers.
The price was alright, we only stayed for one night, checked in at 23:00 and left before 6am the next morning, so only for these couple of hours it was an ok experience. It was clean, a pleasant smell could be felt in the hallway and lobby, they give you towels and shower gel.

Bunk bed was dirty, I found little hairs on the mattress. Thankfully the staff changed our room which was a bit better but still not as clean as I would like. There is a mirror facing directly towards the shower, which is only a glass door.
Great facilities. The staff speak English. The hotel felt safe and looked pleasant. I also liked that there was a usb charging port near each bed.

Our Tv’s didn’t work very well and our window didn’t close fully, but overall that’s everything
It was close to paris, it was an easy access to the metro station and there were grocerystores around. The staff was nice enough to helpfully.

Location is really a getto. It’s not too bad to find a transportation to go to the city centre but it was really almost not a safe neighbourhood.
