Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandAir conditioning works only in summer. We slept with windows open, which was fine as well. Breakfast buffet very small and nothing special.
Very clean room and bathroom. Small but very comfy bed. Staff very friendly. Parking garage very close to hotel (2 min walk) and cheap (we stayed overnight and paid 5 EUR). Very close to old town, which is really beautiful. Only a few minutes to walk.

United Arab Emiratesthe place is run down , no elevator , you need to carry your bags up a flight of stairs for the receiption not an issue as i had a carry on, but not good if you don't the Girl at the check in was border line rude , she looked like she just wanted to get over with it , maybe she had a bad day but its not my fault! walls are thin , so pray for quiet neighbours

United KingdomClarity about parking: the closest parking places are underground with a 1.9m height limit. We came with a campervan and had to park down in the outdoor spaces at the Bonlieu parking. It is noisy with those above being audible, but this is the price of the traditional wooden framed building,
Great location near the station, and close to the old town; efficient helpful staff; slight old world feel to the building They offer breakfast but there is an excellent pattisseries next door

United KingdomThe room we had was quite small, although comfortable. There are bigger rooms and if this is something that bothers you I would contact them and ask for a bigger room.
The staff were friendly, the breakfast was fine. We could park at the underground car park at Stalingrad Square, which is actually very close once you know which entrance to use. Comfortable, clean. Lovely bathroom and shower. Well positioned and an easy walk to lake, restaurants etc. There’s a nice bakery on the ground floor.

United KingdomThe room was on the top floor. We both tried the lift once, for the experience (!) but then opted to take the stairs the rest of the time. It was a single person lift that’s a Perspex tube! The room was small and very basic, which was fine for us, although one day when the weather was awful we had to spend a lot more time in the room that we would have liked so it would have been nice to have a bit more space then!
The property was in a good location for what we wanted. My daughter and I were back packing through France and this was very close to the train station and was very easy to find. Everything we wanted to see in Annecy was within close walking distance but being so close to the train station, the hotel wasn’t in the most picturesque part of Annecy! The staff were very friendly and there was always someone on the front desk.

People at the front desk were extremely friendly. We loved the proximity to the old town and the hip decor in the rooms. It had the perfect combination of beds for our family and was very affordable. We would definitely stay there again.

GermanyThis hotel is really charming and made us feel very comfortable. I especially loved the decor in our room – it had a modern feel, yet was super cozy. The breakfast was tasty, and the staff were incredibly friendly. They offer a discount for Parking Poste nearby. Since the city is on the smaller side, it's easy to get around everywhere by foot. Overall, it was a great stay, thanks to the relaxed vibe and good service at the hotel.

United KingdomParking can be a bit of a nightmare. Free overnight at parking la poste but is 1.9m height restriction so was too low for car with roofbox.
Room for 4 people was very spacious and clean. 24hr desk with helpful staff. Let us keep skis in the cellar.

United KingdomThey refused to accept my credit card to guarantee the booking. Eventually they accepted my husband’s card. They took 50 euro deposit from it and did not return it until a week after we left. They would not let us use the 50 euros as part of our payment for the room.

AustriaThe sound isolation is not the best thing in this hotel, but we slept well during the night, and no loud noise was noticed.
The location is great with a really short walk to the city center. I personally liked the receptionists in the evening and the morning. I also really liked the offer they make for people with a car - they give you a discount that deducts a night of your parking. We arrived at 21:00, left something like 09:00 and paid around 1 euro after the deduction of our parking ticket. I will also mention that the room was really warm during the night. The bed is good, did not notice any issues but I am sensitive to bed, pillows and duvet. So, overall, really good value for the money we paid - you can't expect a lot at this price but it is a really good place to do an overnight stay.

PhilippinesPhotos on the website are completely different in reality. The hotel itself needs to be refurnished. In the morning, you can smell a faulty odour from the bathroom. During the night, you can hear when the clients on top of your room flushes their toilet.
Location! Staff are welcoming.

CyprusThe room in the pictures wasn’t at all as in reality. The decor shown in the website wasn’t in the room. Only in the lobby. Plus the room wasn’t sound proof. You could hear people above and next door. Lastly, we found out that it would be cheaper to book it on the spot rather than on booking.com. Even though I booked the room months in advance.
The location of the hotel is excellent. In the heart of everything. Close to the old town and the central station. The hotel was clean and tidy, the stuff was wonderful!
