This is not a criticism, rather a comment for visitors. The apartment is part of a larger house located behind a high stone wall. It is not clearly marked from the street and is on a bend in the road. We drove past before locating it. We parked next to the church and had no problems in gaining access to the apartment.

This is a beautiful place to stay in the old part of Beauvais. It is on large grounds with views towards the cathedral. Inside there is a comfortable lounge area and a modern kitchen. Upstairs via the spiral staircase are two good bedrooms, a bathroom and second toilet. We only stayed one night and would like to have stayed longer.

Bit far from everything if you don't have a car. In our house there was a problem with the bathroom door: once you close it it was very difficult to open it again (I think it was due to too thick layer of paint in the door frame). The living room was bit dark.

Very charming old house at the church with a giant private garden. We had everything we needed - fully equipped kitchen (including espresso machine), towels, sheets and blankets and washing machine. TV with Netflix etc. Also loved the cats :)

Absolutely beautiful place, very quiet and tranquil with bells of church chiming occasionally. We brought some Italian meats and some french cheeses and olives with us, sat outside at 6pm in the garden, beautiful sunny evening with our aperol spritz, we always come prepared! The garden was lovely, we moved to the sun loungers later until 9pm still sunny. The room was spotlessly clean, lovely kitchen and bathroom. The bed was one of the most comfy beds, large, firm but not too hard and nice crisp cotton sheets. The owner came to see us in the evening and recommended chateau de chantilly, we took her advice and visited as we were on our way to Versailles, a stunning chateau. We would definitely stay again as we have stayed in many apartments \ B&Bs in Europe over the years, one of the best. You can park nearly outside just by the church.

Spiral staircase.

The accommodation was excellent. It also was extremely well appointed The 'stuff' provided was really top quality. The only downside was the potentially dangerous spiral staircase but that was necessary due to the lay out of the apartment. Well worth a visit !!!

Whilst we only stayed for one night there was not enough toilet roll and no additional roll. instructions for parking not very clear as gates are needed to be fully opened and it’s a tight fit

Our only tiny criticism was that there were no tea towels or mugs in the apartment only small glasses with handles for tea and coffee. There was also no TV. Apart from that we had no issues at all. Just to be aware, nearly all the local restaurants close on Sundays and quite a few on Mondays too.

The location is wonderful. Beautiful gardens surrounding the property. Everything in the apartment was clean and new and the kitchen was well equiped. The property is right next door to the church so there were bells ringing every half hour but not during the night! The host, Madam, was charming but only had very limited english but we managed to talk using our limited french!
