What was not to like!! Little gem in a beautiful, peaceful area. The garden and pool area are so beautiful and well kept. A place to sit, relax and enjoy a swim. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The room was huge and tastefully decorated. You had the downstairs living area at your disposal too. Our host Julien was most welcoming, offering us tea or coffee after our long drive. Made us a lovely breakfast and even offered to make us dinner in the evening. The self grown strawberries are a real treat! Free and safe car-parking a plus. Wish we could have stayed a few days longer. Merci Julien, for letting us stay in your lovely home!

Nothing really - bathroom downstairs but as this part of the house was ours there was no problem at all

Julien really went above and beyond - the house is his family home but the guests - currently one bedroom - have the lounge downstairs and the bathroom downstairs. The bedroom is up a set of stairs and it is - wow - huge with vaulted ceiling and lots of space ! Comfortable bed, robes and towels. The garden by the pool is a little piece of paradise and we took dinner and breakfast there. Julien proposed dinner - as we arrived Saturday night we thought why not so we do not have to go out. There is no facility in the little hamlet of Juvancourt - so good we chose the dinner. But even better - the food was AMAZING - not shy of a Michelin starred restaurant with wonderful presentation, beautiful ingredients and absolutely delicious sauces! Lovely wine to go with it - the desert was particularly good with strawberries From the garden. Julien is a great chef and we felt absolutely spoilt! Very attentive to all our needs - great host - we will be back

Everything about Bulles & Bubbles comes from love and genuine care, from the warmth of the welcome to the choices of furnishings, books, decor and the quality of the food. Julien loves sharing his family home with you and is extremely accommodating and understanding - we were late because of a delayed Le Shuttle crossing and also slept in for breakfast - no problem for Julien - still the same smile, pride and willingness to make everything perfect. Such a beautiful house! Such wonderful food! You should stay here more than one night and explore Champagne Sud and Bourgogne wine regions - this is the perfect base camp for that - we will definitely return - exceptional service and quality! Fabulous (Paris/London 5⭐️ Michelin quality) evening meals and breakfast, extremely comfortable and opulent environment with a magnificent host - we genuinely did not want to leave after just one night… We will be back - for longer next time!

The property was luxurious and quite the best we have ever stayed in. Julien catered for every imaginable need, and was welcoming and friendly. He cooked us a superb dinner at short notice. We cannot overstate how much we enjoyed our stay.

The accommodation is beautiful and the bedroom huge. We loved the pool and the garden in the evening. We paid extra for dinner and it was superb as was breakfast the next morning. Julien went over and above to make our stay perfect. We'd certainly like to stay there again.

Absolutely nothing.it was all amazing.

Amazing host who is also a fantastic chef. We had a really superb evening meal finishing with crepes Suzette and all the veg and salad were from the hosts garden. The breakfast was delightful in lovely surroundings.the accommodation is very large ,recently renovated and beautifully furnished . The location is about 3 mins maximum from the motorway but very quiet and tranquil. We will definitely go back.we would definitely recommend this place .

All was exceptional, this b&b is a gem. very beautiful location, easy access from highway. We were very pleasantly surprised by one of the best dinners in a very long time, finding out julian was a chef in Paris explained it. All food fresh from his garden made it a memorable experience. Nothing - we were just sorry that we could only stay for one night!

We had a exceptionally enjoyable and memorable stay at Bulles & Bubbles. The location is beautiful and peaceful, but close to the motorway, so very convenient. The accommodation is very spacious and beautifully restored, and Julien is a fantastic host - very friendly and welcoming. Dinner and breakfast were sublime! A real gastronomic delight, showcasing local produce and beautifully presented. All in the idyllic setting of the relaxing garden. Thank you so much, Julien, for your hospitality - we'll be back!

Really nice place. Julien the owner, has converted a family home into a very nice and tasteful escape. The location is a bit remote so you need a car to get there and to get around. Julien prepares the breakfast which is amazing - he also offers possibility for dinner (extra charge); but he used to work in the HoReCa business in Paris, so he knows what he is doing. During your stay Julien is there all the time, and lives in the appartment right next.

We were warmly welcomed by Julian as he led us to the private parking. We had a wonderful time. The room and facilities were very clean, the garden & pool were amazing and breakfast was very carefully prepared. Every ingredient used is produced locally. Feel free to ask for more details about this. If he offers you to have dinner upon arrival, be sure to accept and mention dietary preferences. We were wowed.

Nothing..... everything has been meticulously thought through.

This was just one of the best places we have stayed in. So glad we chose it! Julien (our host) couldn't do enough for us. He is meticulous, pays attention to detail, is friendly, a great chef and really cares that you enjoy your stay. The house is just off the motorway, so a great location is you are travelling to the UK, or the south of France. The house is beautifully restored, with great facilities, and a lovely huge private bedroom. The pool area is beautiful, with a nice garden and a dining area if the weather is good. Julien cooked for us each night and delivered a truly superb meal on both nights. And the breakfast each morning was the best we have had on our travels through France (and we have travelled a lot in France!) Really, this was a great find, we completely enjoyed our visit (including meeting Lillian, Yves and Juliens father) and we will definitely be returning.

Every once in a while we stumble on somewhere truly special to stay. Bulles & Bubbles is one of these places - exceptional in terms of welcome, accommodation and food. We first stayed here just as a stopover driving across France (Juvancourt is a quiet village just a stone's throw from the autoroute) but will now return again and again and explore this lovely region. Julien and Lilian go above and beyond to ensure their guests enjoy their stay. Dinner was a highlight for us, served in the pretty garden by the pool. Julien, a trained chef, served delicious food from his potager, finishing with crêpes suzette which he prepared in front of us. All accompanied by the local champagne. Vive La France! We enjoyed a great night's sleep in our stylish room - Bulles & Bubbles is a family house restored with a lot of care and attention to detail - and a generous breakfast, with good coffee and local produce. Thank you, Julien, for your welcome and for making our first night back in France such a memorable one!

It was exceptionally good. The standard of food and its preparation couldn’t be faulted, our dinner and breakfast were fantastic - absolutely delicious and exquisite presentation. Julien is a highly experienced chef and he looked after us really well. His attention to every detail is incredible, the house and garden are beautiful. We arrived a little early, Julien was extremely welcoming and we enjoyed a very relaxing time in the stunning garden by the pool. We can’t wait to return. The best B&B we’ve ever been to.

We have been completely stunned by the beauty, hospitality and warmth of this property and the couple who host it. From when we stepped out of the car we have been pampered by our wonderful hosts and treated like royalty. Their garden where there is a large pool, is completely enchanting! We had dinner in the garden, and breakfast the next morning, and both times blown away by the quality of Julien’s cooking and his knowledge and use of fresh, local produce. This place is 5 star luxury.

We had a lovely stay! After being greeted at the house, where we could park our car safely behind a locked gate at night, Julien gave us a tour of the accommodation. Everything was very clean with modern equipment (WiFi, Italian shower, automatic windowscreens and television) and still cosy and homelike (comfortable bed, towels, robes and slippers layed out for us). All our contact with Julien was friendly and efficiënt. He was quick in answering our questions before and during our stay through WhatsApp and served our every need - from laying out pillows and towels in the garden before we went to the pool to making us a coffee to go before our trip - Julien was always just one text away. His father and friend also gave great tips for sightseeing in the area! The food was an absolute highlight for us. Three course dinners of restaurant quality and cooked fresh with local ingredients and fresh breakfast with eggs prepared any way you want them. What's not to like?

Staying at Bulles and Bubbles, in the Champagne region near to Troyes, is an enjoyable and memorable "experience". Bulles snd Bubbles has a unique sense of "quality": quality rooms and facilities, quality (indeed exceptional) food, and an unspoilt rural environment. It is far more than the usual anonymous bed for the night with an overpriced breakfast to send you on your way. Your host, Julien, grows much of the food he serves in his garden. The Jerusalem artichokes are superb. His eggs come from his own chickens, fresh for breakfast each morning. The milk he collects from the farm around the corner after the evening milking. He eagerly took us on a short walk (with the traditional milk can for the milk), showing us the farm and his garden. It reminded me of my own childhood 75 years ago in a similar small village in northern France. Of course he bakes his own bread and puts farm butter on the table and serves local wines, many with famous names. He is a talented chef serving imaginative and pretty plates of tasty food made largely from local produce (his garden). We started with crab balls covered in a crust mafe from Korean breadcrumbs. Then there was fish served with potato mash with Jerusalem artichokes and sauté home grown vegetables. Desert was a divine chocolate fondant, petfectly cooked. All washed down with a fine 2018 Montagny Premier Cru. Breakfast started with a fancy apple compote (home grown of course), followed by omlette using that morning's eggs. Home baked bread and a variety of pastries, hams, saucisson sec and jams. Not to forget freshly squeezed orange juice and fine coffee. Located in the tiny rural village of Juvancourt, a short and straightforward drive off the A5/E17, Julien is there to welcome you to the house on arrival. On the outside, the house is a 17th century limestone brick house, rather typical of the region.

Excellent breakfast and diner. Large room with great facilities. Julien is a wonderful host. For us it was an unexpected surprise. 10 out of 10!
