Really like the location and services. It also has a lot of things to go to the beach and have fun (diving glasses, requettes, cards, umbrella, etc). Staff was great! Valon made the stay so comfortable and nice! You a really soulful dude :)

I dont think our room was cleaned/sweeped at all during the week. The volunteers clean the comon spaces everyday but the hostel definitely needs a deapcleaning. For the price though its ok.

The balcony is super nice, location is very good, the beds/ linen was confortable.

Awesome atmosphere. The location is perfect to visit the island and enjoy the beach. Volunteers were super available and friendly, and the common areas are great to meet the other guests. The hostel (room+common areas) is globally clean.

Everything was amazing! the volunteers make you feel like you are at home. There is activities everyday and are really fun. The location is amazing!

I was usually up before the roof terrace opened at 8

This was my first time in Tamaran House and it was great. The hostel is kept very clean by the hostel staff and volunteers. The kitchen is well organised with personal boxes, plenty of bathrooms which are cleaned at least daily. It is very well run so there is a good atmosphere, I felt at home immediately. Excellent location if you love water sports like I do.

Was staying only one night. But all was nice, clean and nice crew working there. The only thing the bed where a bit short and Im not even tall. This curtains on the bed all the time are falling. But this is small details. Important was clean |! Locations also is great.

Tamaran can quickly become your home far away from home and you will always want to come back. It’s a perfect place for solo travelers, the volunteers will make you feel welcome and you can join many activities that will let u get to know new people easily. Thank you guys for making this place so unique thanks to its atmosphere and community. 💛

I had a great time in Las Palmas at Tamaran house. The beach and a bus station are very close. Everyone was so nice and helpful with anything that I needed or asked for. I will definitely come back again.

The beds make quite some noise when moving or climbing into the bed. But not very disturbing.

Very relaxed small hostel, amazing location. As soon as you step out of the door and look to the right you see the sun shining above the sea. Very nice staff, activities to join. Good rules to keep it clean and organised together such as your own basket in the fridge. In the time periode I visited (March) mainly digital nomads staying at the hostel for a longer time, which gave a nice vibe of a home.

I arrived to Tamaran House to stay for a month working from there, little did I know what I was about to find. A beautiful hostel, very nice views from my room and the roof terrace, lots of spaces to work from and other people like me just working in the best of vibes together. I did not expect to make such a good friends and memories as it finally happened to me in this hostel, the people working there are amazing and very concern about making a clean, friendly welcoming space. They organize dinners and the conversation with other people becomes easy going, they share moments while working as well, are super chill and they worry for people to have a nice time. In the last week of my trip I got very sick and people that work on the hostel really took good care of me and constantly check if I was alright or needed anything. I appriciate all the moments and connections I got in this place. It has been a wonderful experience and not only I'm coming back, I want everyone to know about this place.

I've stayed there a few times and even though there are always new volunteers every time it is always the same friendly, happy place with a really welcoming vibe. They do a great job of finding cool people that are just nice to be around. They keep the place clean and organise lots of nice things for the hostellers, like some hostel dinners and pancakes on a Sunday morning on the lovely roof terrace. I will definitely be back next year and I'm sure it will be just as great to be there!

The toilets & sinks are in the same bathroomroom as the shower and there are only 3 complete bathrooms for many people - so it was always quite tricky to just quickly brush your teeth or go to the toilet.

Tamaran house is incredible! I had such an amazing stay, the vibe, the people, the house, the terrasse, everything was great. It's not a party hostel, so you can really get some sleep as well, and everybody is really respectful :)

The location was perfect, next to beach, and there were grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The staff was nice and helpful, they invite people to social activities, lunches and dinners at the Hostel, which was great.

Poor air circulation in rooms on ground floor - it was getting stuffy pretty quickly

It was my first ever stay in hostel and I'm very happy how it went. Would definitely come back to Tamaran when next time in Las Palmas. Just to list few things: Helpful and dedicated staff, Group activities arranged daily, Lots of open-minded guests Rooftop terrace where you can eat looking at and listening to the ocean, Location just by Playa de las Canteras, Multiple grocery stores and restaurants nearby.

The staff were exceptionally friendly. The sea was only 30 metres away. I swam every morning before breakfast. The view of the sea and promenade from the terrace was amazing!
