Nothing really

The rooms were clean and well-maintained, but above all the staff. All of them were so friendly, Ren, Victor, Decker, Sophie, Marie, Tess etc. I don't want to upset anyone by missing them out! But all the staff I spoke to were lovely and looked after everyone really well. One of the best hostels I've stayed in 🙌🏻

I recently stayed at this hostel in Las Palmas and had an absolutely wonderful experience! The location was fabulous, right in the heart of everything. The staff were incredibly lovely, and Ren, in particular, was amazing. She went above and beyond, recommending the best places for food and activities, making my stay unforgettable. Highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Las Palmas!

The bunks were 3 storeys high and so I was glad I was not in the top bunk.

Incredible location right on the beach front. Good large kitchen facilities and roof terrace.

The mattress was too hard for me.

It was my second time at HiTide and I enjoyed it as much as the first time. The hostel is very clean. It’s a great place to hang out and connect with others. My favorite spot was the rooftop terrace overlooking the sea. Thanks to all the volunteers who are taking care of the place and the guests :)

Some more bathrooms for the amount of people would be great; also they would need some work done ; little curtains on the bunk beds would be a plus During my stay in January it was a bit of a party hostel with mostly jung people in there twenties, so i would mostly recommend it for this age group:)

My highest level bed in dormitory was little bit hard to get into.

The location!!!!!!! Absolutely amazing! And the staff was super friendly, felt most welcomed 😌 The place was clean and had all necessary facilities.

The hostel is absolutely recommended!!! The location is perfect, the vibe and the stuff is great, the rooms are clean and nice. I absolutely loved it, so after my first stay I booked an other night. I thought it's a bit pricey, but it's worth it! I hope to get there again 🧡

We loved our stay here! Such a friendly group of people staying at the hostel - it felt like a big family :-). Gorgeous views from the roof terrace and a perfect location right on the seafront. Comfy beds, houseplants and cool furnishings… we would love to return some time!

I had to leave too soon, I hate it that.

I simply cannot express how marvellous my stay has been at this gem in the heart of Playa de Las Canteras. The atmosphere is absolutely buzzing, and the volunteers – Jaime, Andrea, Michela, and the rest – are the heart of this place. It's been an absolute blast; cheers to you all! The house is wonderfully spacious, replete with ample bathrooms and loos. The upper terrace is a real treat, offering the finest views – perfect for a party or a leisurely afternoon chill. I have seen people working there too, sweet. The cleanliness is top-notch, outshining many hotels, I dare say. The kitchen is superbly kitted out, complete with a splendid ocean view. It's such a delightful place, one simply doesn't wish to leave. I reckon it's the best hostel in Las Palomas. I'll certainly be returning. This place must be preserved at all costs!

The mattress seemed worn out and there were no privacy curtains. That could be improved in my opinion :)

The vibes created by the location at the beach and the amazing volunteers make this hostel a great place to stay and socialize. Especially Erick organized a lot of things and really carried the atmosphere. I enjoyed a lot of moments with people I met there, but also just chilling at the rooftop and listening to the waves. Definitly a great place to stay.

CASH/ transfers only! And you only find out only after you make a non-refundable reservation. Like other hostels in Las Palmas they should have a water filter!! Even though the tap water is apparently potable, the taste it's just terrible. It is so NOT sustainable, you see everyone in the hostel with their plastic bottles. For the price you're paying and for the planet they should have a filter at least in the kitchen.

I liked the place and people so much that booked an extra night. I am giving a 10 because all the Staff/volunteers were absolutely amazing, super friendly, patient and hard working, special shout-out to Eric! He will make sure you will have a good time. The location and seaview are amazing!
