We felt the lighting in the bedrooms could've been a bit brighter. This is a minor point and it didn't spoil our enjoyment of the hotel.

The purple lady🤭

Everything, I used to work in high quality hospitality and its exactly the same treatment as on private yachts or Ritz hotel.. Excellence ,I was very impressed 👌 sorry saying that...but it was that particular lady who walked too loud on her hills and being too loud while speaking. Lady in purple uniform. Anyway great, la cream the la cream 🔝

Instructions on how to operate the room safe otherwise could not find fault with anything staff friendly and helpful at all times wonderful experience and also our first visit to this hotel and area

Not enough light in the room, dressing mirror was too high, having to wash your own glasses, too many pillows left in the room, they took up too much space.

The room arrangement where the bathroom is separated from the bed by only shutters, although very decorative and blending with room’s style, do not allow proper privacy. The glass doors to the toilet and shower booths cannot be properly closed! The sounds and odours permeate the room. In all it felt that this arrangement does not live up to the high standards of the hotel.

The facility is extraordinarily welcoming. It is grand in style, architecture dow to the small comforting details. Breakfast is superb in the variety offered and the manner it is laid out and served.

Nothing Only niddle found out tips given on the bill unless given by hand in money do not reach the staff that serve you hotel really need to look at this policy. Frontline staff make and create the experience for the guest, so pass on the reward that people give them.

The uniqueness and charm of the hotel oldie worldie with a blend of modern interventions wellness centre pool areas, etc. The staff and management are a credit to the hotel without the stuffiness you get in some 5star hotels.

Nothing - couldn’t fault it.

Everything! Perfect from when we arrived to when we left. To name a few things: friendly, helpful staff; beautiful room with a comfortable bed; amazing breakfast; great pool and gym. Sometimes luxurious places can be a bit stuffy and off putting, but this definitely wasn’t - a warm, welcoming experience.

The option to do online check in only to arrive & be told you must also queue to check in manually at the desk. It was not a fast check in and there was no welcome refreshment offered during this lengthy process

Staff were attentive, spa & massage services very good, taxis in/out of town easy to get, valet parking, drinks out front very relaxing.

Nothing if being picky breakfast hit food was often like warm.

Everything was wonderful. Such a beautiful hotel renovated sympathetically. Every member of staff was excellent so friendly and efficient. The grounds were like a tropical paradise. Food was excellent too.

No major issues. A few things could be tweaked at breakfast, I found I had long waits for tea on a couple of days, also only half a pot of water which was nowhere near boiling which doesn't make good tea. Bacon was very fatty with little meat , I would expect better for the €30 breakfast charge. No option of poached eggs. Just fried or scrambled but apart from that 9/10 for the rest of the Buffet. Great selection of meats/ cheeses, yogurts etc.

It's a good , generally well run hotel. Staff very helpful.

Poemas restaurant was the best meal of our lives. I really enjoyed the thermal hydrotherapy circuit and our spa treatments. We came to GC specifically to come to the hotel after being inspired by Agatha Christie. Little did we know that she actually stayed at the hotel!! Everything was amazing.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the city. We upgraded to a junior suite to have access to the rooftop pool during the day. Loved the location. Easy access to the beach as well as the Vegueta (old town).
