The check in procedure is quite complicated and tedious. We had to give details on every guest staying in apartment. But in saying this it helped to avoid having to collect the key at another location. The showers are great but very slippery. A lot of noise from the street and apartments upstairs and downstairs, but this is to expected when in the Centre of a large city.

The location is great, right in the center of Barcelona. Everything is a few stops away. Great bakeries to pop down to, restaurants and grocery stores. La Ramblas a few minutes walk. On a Vibey and busy street, with 2 small balconies. Kitchen is well equipped and the apartment is beautifully designed. The hosts were very helpful and quick to answer any queries I had.

The apartment is in an excellent location for exploring the city, able to get most places on foot. Very comfortable and well appointed, with a number of shops and restaurants right on the doorstep. The Ola Living team were very helpful throughout the booking and our stay.

The whole building is solely comprised of rental units, leading to constant stream of people coming and going and consequently creating noise, including some parties as well which is really unacceptable. If you`re a light sleeper, perhaps not the best place for you to stay in.

The bedroom windows open into the center of the complex where people have dumped garbage and cigarette butts, so only the windows to the street are nice for fresh air. Their kitchen was not adequately supplied to do any cooking (for example no spatulas/wooden spoons for stirring). There were no kitchen towels or even paper towels, which was frustrating. There was not sufficient toilet paper for the stay, so we purchased our own paper products. The constant notifications about paying the deposit before check-in was annoying, as they started sending them a week before check-in when we were already traveling and managing other travel plans at the same time. No other property harassed us like that.

The location is excellent and the apartment is quite large with lots of privacy for the guests in both bedrooms. The rooms and common areas are all separated by the hallway and solid doors, so no worries about waking up others if you are on different sleep schedules. The apartment is very clean and comfortable.

There was a lot of noise from the upstairs occupants. Foot steps and chair noises could be heard all night.

The key pad broke and we couldn’t get in late at night, felt a bit intimidated but was replaced in the morning. The quiet hours were not obeyed, people directly above were extremely noisy.. came back Sunday morning at 5.30, rang the external buzzers constantly, ran up the stairs hammering on the internal door. Very intimidating but overall everything the accommodation offered we needed to a high standard

We had read reviews on the noise from the street, this can be heard from the apartment however we didn’t mind!

The whole apartment is absolutely gorgeous we couldn’t have asked for anything better, from the location to the interior it felt very cosy and comfortable from the moment we arrived. We were provided with anything we could need during our stay which was 10/10.

Not enough lightings in the kitchen/lounge. One of the days that we were out, festive chocolates were put on the dining table with a greetings note. We did not expect anyone to come in the apartment during our stay when the kids and us had all our electronics lying about, personal things and expensive shoppings within clear view. Fortunately, nothing was missing.

Very comfortable apartment and very centrally located, everything is within walking distance (shopping, La Rambla, museums, beach etc) All queries were attended promptly.

A real hassle to register everyone on the app - took an hour for 4 people and seemed like massive overkill. The keycard on the app didn’t work until almost 3.30 despite being told it would activate from 3pm, but luckily had gone to collect a hard copy after reading reviews on here (worth doing in case of phone/app failure) No tea towels or oven cloths which is stupid when you provide a kitchen - had to use bath towels to take things out of the oven! Would be helpful to provide basics like salt, pepper and oil too. Having to empty the bins was weird too, don’t see why the cleaners can’t do this?

Amazing apartment - nicely, stylishly decorated in a beautiful old building. Beds were super comfy, lots of towels etc and bathrooms were great. Liked having a dishwasher and Netflix! Location was great, reasonably easy to find and in a handy location near all the good stuff. Felt safe too. Really impressed.

The check in process is very laborious & in my opinion goes far above what should be required for an apartment rental. For example every person having to take selfies with your passport is excessive!

There was only 2 of us on this trip. The apartment was for 4 people but the living area would have been a little too cosy for 4. The taxi dropped us off a short walk away but it's not very well signed and when we did find the apartments we were told by someone going in that the reception was in a different location, only a short walk but I don't think was made very clear. Everyone was great when we did get there though.

The apartment had everything we needed for the 3 days we were there. Plenty of fresh towels, an extra quilt, welcome pack with tea, milk, washing liquid etc. Comfy bed and decent bathrooms. The location was great, right in the centre of the gothic quarter, close to bars and restaurants and a short walk from Le Rambles but quiet at night. Beautiful old building too.

Complicated procedure with payment of city tax and deposition.

Perfectly situated, close to everything and in very genuine area. Resturant Tosca nearby ond metro from airport 4 min walk away. Very nice apartment with 3 bedrooms, plenty of space! Digital key worked very well, supersmooth to not have to get physical key!

The main sitting room is quite small. We were surprised that there was no air conditioning, nor air ventilation. There is only one window facing outside (not the inner shaft).

The location of the apartment is great. Styling of the apartment was nice. Everything was clean. We found all the necessary basic items that we needed.

The rooms we felt was a little too small and stuffy but when the air-conditioning is switched on it was ok.

The catalan vaulted ceiling covering the whole apartment was amazing for us. The balconies in the apartment overlooks the hustle & busy pedestrian street which was also very interesting. Overall, we definitely felt the Ola feeling of living in the city.
