We liked everything about this property. We arrived early to a very welcoming Sara at the front desk. She spoke English well enough to not only understand us but made an effort to communicate answers to questions we had. She let us check in early and leave our bags in a side room so we could explore the area. Sara gave us directions to lunch suggestions, sights, groceries, laundry and beach while also cleaning and getting ready for new guests. Upon our return to check in to our room we were excited to open the door and see the unbelievable view of the beach, mountains, ocean, etc. The room was clean, comfortable and full of amenities. We had a wonderful walk on the beach and saw the many sights including the evening walk out to the lighthouse (Sara gave us suggestions, taxi # if we wanted to use it) Breakfast the next morning was included. Perfect selection of everything you would want to start the day with Sara’s friendly personality serving things up. Highly recommend this place because of the staff, location, comfort, cleanliness, amenities, and the VIEW! Breathtaking!!! We have stayed in many, many places on our Camino from Porto to Santiago. Hotel Mar de Fisterra is definitely #1. Thank you! We will tell others and hopefully return ourselves. 👍❤️👣

The view from the room is amazing! Clean and comfortable room/bed, great location, delicious breakfast, and kind/friendly staff. It sits right on the Camino de Santiago and can watch pilgrims make their way to Finisterre.

The breakfast was a little basic. We found the recommended seafood restaurant, O Centolo, by the port a complete rip-off coming in at about double what one usually expects and weren't treated well. Avoid.

The one thing you instantly notice on arrival is the stunning location. Every room gets a view across the beach and out to sea. We were met by a very pleasant member of staff who checked us in and gave a fairly comprehensive guide of the area. The hotel is quite basic but spotlessly clean and very good value for money. The views from the windows in the room easily make up for any luxuries that may be absent. There is enough storage and hanging space to fully unpack should you be staying a while, and the linen is of good quality, although the towelling is on the thin side. Parking for our motorcycle was dead easy right beside the front door, although this can't be booked. The nearby restaurant, La Casa de Ville, is superb and would highly recommend.

I was placed on the first floor and I didn’t like the fact that lot of people were walking on the street and could see everything about your room, no intimacy at all at that floor
