I loved everything about my stay there. Right from the outset, the staff were welcoming and helpful. They arranged for me to have a private taxi pickup, which is exactly what I needed after a 28-hour flight, and they were lovely when I arrived. The staff, in particular, Amber, even gave me tips for my stay in Gran Canaria, including great places to eat and events that were happening—and even a recommendation for a great hairdresser! The breakfast was terrific, and so was the chef—he was a lovely man. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend staying here to anyone travelling to Gran Canaria.

Hotel MG Poniente is an excellent hotel from my recent experience. The hotel is newly refurbished & is very well maintained with comfortable rooms. It is a quiet hotel & I didn't hear any street noise. Breakfast was good & everywhere is spotlessly clean The hotel is a one minute walk from the beach & good seafront restaurants. I can highly recommend this hotel for any stay. It's a small hotel & that's part of its charm as there is attention to detail from the staff. Amber & all the staff members including the guy who helped serve breakfast & the cleaning staff were all so lovely, & couldn't have been any more helpful. Highly recommend Hotel MG Poniente for a stay.

The hotel is very centrally located in Las Palmas and it is only about 400 meters to the beach. It is quite new, according to the date of the elevator 2021. Everything nice and clean, super friendly staff and pleasant stay. As a German for whom German bakery is important, there is a lack of semi-food at breakfast. SerbiaI made the booking for two nights with breakfast, but since the flight was leaving early I could’t eat the second day. Instead of getting a sandwich to go, I asked not to charge me for the breakfast the second day, as there is also the option of choosing breakfast at the premises I didn’t think it was that big of a deal. Especially since it was a booking, but payment hadn’t been made. All hell broke loose. The receptionist had to call a manager for approval who then asked me to come to the phone and talk to him. He was very unpleasant, forcing me to take the breakfast sandwich I didn’t want, even after I had explained I was diabetic and could not eat bread etc. He even said, I was to blame because I had booked it like that and that’s it. Honestly, I don’t need such a stressful beginning of a holiday and being forced to explain my medical condition to someone on the phone. He has zero people skills micromanages his team, and it really left a bad impression since the price was almost 300 e for 2 days, it is not necessarily on the cheap side to account for cheap behavior.
It was very clean, and they provided some water for the guests, some nice pillows. It was very comfortable and at the beach while being a bit hidden which meant we could get some sleep. The staff was excellent, extremely helpful and available for any advice. The kitchen also worked well. In general, I would especially like to highlight the cleanliness and location as the top two qualities of this accommodation.

This is a fairly new hotel and its very modern and clean. Its in a really good location - 10 minute walk from Santa Catalina bus station and 5 minutes from the beach front. Beach front has lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Hotel was really nice and the staff very freindly and helpful. Shout out to the chap doing the breakfast! The breaksfast I would say was adequate but still nice and did the job. The cost of B&B was good. Our room was a nice size, the bathroom a good size too. Air conditioning worked just fine! beds comfy. They have a policy where you have to put a note on the door if you want the room cleaned, its not automatic but that was fine for us. All in all a great location - clean and tidy. There was no noise from outside if you kept the window shut but as air con worked well this was not an issue for us. Would recommend a stay here....and in Las Palmas in general. Easy to get a bus from the airport to the Santa Catalina bus station. Its only about 3 euros per person each way. The bus service is clean, regular and reliable.

United KingdomThe TV in my room was broken by previous guests however as showing only Spanish programs this didn't matter. Prior to arrival we were informed that stored luggage would be Euro5 per day which I thought was too much so we made alternative arrangements.
Having been recently refurbished the hotel was exceptionally clean & modern. Location is a convenient 100m from the beach front. The shower was excellent. Although not extensive the buffet breakfast was good enough.

SloveniaOur room was clean and they did change our towels But they didnt sweep our floor, except one Time, two days before we leaved the hotel. A bit overpriced. At early morning it was loud, because of the cleaning on the streats.
Nice interior. I loved the hot water in the showers. Hotel is 2 minutes walk away from the beach. Breakfast was nice. But not much choises. Everyday the same 3 salami and eggs and yogurt. But overall it was delicious.
