How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Location is great - pretty close to the airport, and just a 5 min walk to the metro station, which makes it super easy to get around and gives a chance for a quiet evening after an active tourist day in the city center. The area around the hotel is safe, clean, modern, nice to walk around, too. There are shopping malls located nearby. Room was really nice with quite original design solutions on doors. We didn't have a chance to try the breakfast, but the bar drinks and snacks we tried were fine.

Sometimes the waiting time on reception can be a bit long, depending on the guest arrival, as it was a full bus with tourists arriving, and we came back in one hour and they were still checking.
Good size room, very clean room and bathroom. We have stayed in the new building, so it was all ok! 👍 Good optional breakfast, good variety.

Location was a way from the City! No milk in room for Tea & Coffee Costly for what you get.

We were thinking there will be swimming pool because of photos but there were not. Breakfast room was in the basement. Coffee was not good. Parking place for additional fee.
Room was good and clean. Very good view from window. Grapes for breakfast were excellent. Quite close to metro station. Water bottle for free in room.

I kept finding hair and lint in my bed sheets, even when sleeping on the first night. The toilet didn't have a toilet brush.
If you're in town for a congress, it has a great location and also close by metro station. The breakfast has a wide variety of options and staff was very kind.

Air conditioning only worked in heating mode, making the room uncomfortably warm. Surrounding area is a bit bereft of amenities.
Spacious rooms, well laid out, with a decent view. Close to a couple of metro stations.

Pillows very hard Very quiet when you have lunch, no background music, you could hear everyone's conversations

bathroom facilities - no hair conditioner. only filled in tanks with shower gel/shampoo which was not good for my skin. i had to by my own shampoo, hair conditioner and soap. Water supply. it was mentioned that free boudle os water are avilable each day , but they were not provided.

The separation of the room and bathroom/ toilet was a bit low and no noise separator. Not ideal for a romantic couple as there is no privacy.
Hotel was clean, friendly staff, large rooms, good breakfast options.

Unusual room layout. Design of the building and corridor means a lot of noise travels

the Gym area were not open when i stay there. the breakfast is perfect.
The location is very good, it is close to the city centre. and the subway station also are much close. the room is clean, and no much noise at all.
