Not sure how to rate the pricing given that our stay was during Primavera Sound, but the price was easily 2,5 times more than I would’ve paid for a similar hotel in different circumstances. Other than that and the pastries at breakfast, we’ve had a great stay.

Good location, comfortable rooms, breakfast is alright for a 3 stars hotel (though pastries were a bit stale, certainly not fresh). A great bonus was that we were offered to check-in at six in the morning with no extra payment given that the room was available. Sadly we didn’t have time to check the pool.

The pillows were a little smelly, when we told it to the receptionist, she did not care a lot. For the price its a little love-less.

Good location. There was instant coffee in the room and a kettle. The bathroom was nice and spacious. We had a nice little balcony and a good view.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The room was fairly large and clean for a European city. We didn't use their breakfast facility since food in Barcelona is very inexpensive. They always had lemon water for the guests in the lobby which was very refreshing after a day of walking in the sun. You had to use your room key to get into the hotel which gave it a feeling of security. Overall we had a good experience at this hotel.

Refilling of teas , coffees and sugar could have been better. Pool area very small if you want to swim and sunbathe.Doors on bedrooms have to be pulled to shut when going out so can hear lots of doors banging.

We were disappointed in the room. There was no desk ... no table. They had a couple of stools that you could pull out in front of a small little cube you could use for a table. There was only one chair with a back on it. Very few plug inside. I had to plug the kettle into the plug in the bathroom. Breakfast (which I believed was included and turned out not to be) was absolutely not worth $15 Euros per plate. If I had known we had to pay that much for it. We would have eaten elsewhere. The pool area closed at 7pm. Why so early??

The location was great. You could get to almost any of the tourist destinations within a 20 minute walk. There was a cozy little outdoor area up by tge pool but the door latch stuck and I was afraid we'd get stuck up there.

The mattress was different to what we are used to but absolutely fine for a week’s stay. Some more storage for clothes would be helpful, particularly if staying for longer.

The hotel is in an amazing location for exploring Barcelona. It is seemingly a 15 minute walk from everything. There are many good restaurants nearby. The cleaning staff were especially friendly and gave good attention to detail when tidying the room. There was a fridge in the room to store bottled water and complementary water was topped up daily. The shower was amazing with great pressure and temperature. The reception was available 24 hours a day which was handy when checking out for an early flight. The hotel keycard opens the hotel door from outside which affords additional security. There was a safe in the room to store passports etc. The air conditioning worked perfectly to keep the room cool. Some body wash/shampoo was provided and also soap, shaving kit and dental kit. The communal areas of the hotel were very clean and well-maintained.

Breakfast was uninspiring - a small selection of the same basic stuff everyday, not looking particularly great nor very tasty. It is not worth 17 EUR a day they price it at the booking time. The other thing is that I did not include it at the booking time, and at the check-in time, when I asked for parking, they offered me a deal, if I take parking, to include the breakfast for 8 EUR / day, if I book it for all 4 days of my stay. For 8 EUR / day that breakfast was ok, passable. Though, I'd still advice just to have breakfast or brunch somewhere in the city instead. WiFi Internet quality in my room was poor. After struggling for a bit, I preferred to use my mobile Internet connection instead, which was way better and stable.

The room was good in all aspects that matter to me - clean, modern-looking, with comfortable bed and bathroom. The desk was large and comfortable enough to work with laptop, and the desk chair was also comfortable. The location is good, and it looked safe to me; it is in walking distance to the old town, park Ciutadela, Sagrada Familia; nearby bus station and subway, with restaurants, shops, and everything you may need in the walking distance. The hotel parking for 16 EUR / day seems a fair deal for Barcelona, and although it felt tight to park at first without external help (perhaps, it is just me not living in a big city, and thus being used to way more spacious private and public parkings everywhere), it is not that difficult to park into, but requires reasonable driving skills and car control.

Can sometimes be a bit noisy depending on where your room is located. For example we could sometimes hear the phone at the reception ringing and you can hear when they are preparing the breakfast. But not that it bothered me that much.

Unfortunately, the room that was giving to us was in the first floor, close to the breakfast area. Since the sound isolation was not so good, the noise bothered us in the morning. We found the hotel a bit expensive to what it offers in return.

Overall our stay was good. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was good. If you need to catch as bus (FlixBus) the location is perfect, it is 5 minutes walking from Barcelona Nord.
