The bed is a bit hard.

All the rooms are different. Room #310 is very nice and large in a classic style and all the newest updated technology. The showers are great. It has a beautiful rooftop terrace. The location is quiet and excellent. The bed is quite hard and breakfast ok.

The breakfast was quiet basic and did not really meet our expectations. I am a fiend of technology but some of the controls in he room was not completely clear how to use.

Location of the hotel is perfect. The room was realy quiet and of good size. We had a good sleep and basically everything was as expected. For one or two nights this hotel is perfect.

Great location in old town, close to all the main points and great restaurants and bars all around. Staff were really helpful in terms of suggesting places to go and how to get there. Welcome drink and rooftop bar were really nice.

No instructions for coffee machine, would be good to have granular coffee for people who couldn't understand coffee machine! 🙂

Everything was absolutely perfect! The staff were very helpful and friendly, providing us with recommendations and advice for meal options! After check out we had a chance to leave our luggage at the hotel while we went to explore the city. Everything was spotless, bed was super comfortable! Clean bedding, clean towels and the hotel was quiet, no complaints about the noise. Our room was a bit too dark (for my preference), otherwise the room was fantastic! The terrace was amazing, with the bar and rooftop views! Thank you for your hospitality, we will be coming back!

Breakfast needed to be a lot more "on the ball"! One staff member attending to a full breakfast room, was definitely not enough. Waiting for dishes to be refilled, for tables to be cleared and for food to be cooked when it ran out, was frustrating to say the least, as was the frequent waiting for the coffee machine to be refilled. The fruit at breakfast needed more variety - it was always the same each day. A bowl of fruit salad on alternate days would have been welcome. English people usually have milk with their cereal in the morning. Everyday I had to ask for milk - not only for cereal but also for tea! The coffee machine and the toaster need to be replaced by something more efficient, too. The converted patio area, ( now the main breakfast area), is somewhat sterile and perhaps soft music would help provide a warmer environment in which guests didn't need to speak so quietly for fear of being overheard.

The interior design of the hotel and the thoughtful way it had ben adapted form a palace into a hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Our room was downstairs and onto the street so was noisy, particularly in the morning when the school opposite opened. But it was a budget room, great quality and overall good value.

Lovely property right in the heart of the old town with its shops and restaurants. We were in the budget double room near reception. Beautiful modern room, high quality fittings and features, very comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast.

Irritating uplighting in the floor with no separate switch. Piped music on the roof terrace. Unpleasant-tasting coffee from free pods. All electrics turn off if you're in the room but don't move for a while! We prefer switches, knobs and handles to the hi-tech touch panels.

Brilliant location. Very quiet. Very clean. Elegant old building. Gift of chocolate hearts on International Women's Day. Good having a fridge. Helpful staff. Lovely roof terrace. Comfy bed & pillows.

One could consider keeping the terrasse bar open all week, instead of closing Sunday and Monday (I think that's what the receptionist told me. We went up there to enjoy the view and it is wonderful. I could have been happier - maybe - with a drink in my hand.

The location is amazing. The work the owners have done, making the house just like a 100 years ago yet modern and comfortable is incredible. All the installations are perfect and thought through - the bathroom, closet, the lighting - all details have been carefully thought through.
