There was nothing that we did not like about the property

Fabulous place to stay. Breakfasts were different every day & so well prepared & presented by Maurice on their lovely balcony. Beds were so comfortable, although rooms were small you had everything you wanted & immaculately clean . Check in & check out was so easy by using ‘ WhatsApp’.

The breakfast supplied was absolutely fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed it on both mornings. The location is great, close to the main square and easy to find. The room was lovely, very comfy. I enjoyed the local wine which was left in the room and the very tasty almonds. There are tea/coffee making facilities upstairs which was very welcome. Our host was a real gentleman and was very informative regarding places to visit and local eating establishments. We will definitely return.

Lots of steps but competa is very hilly. Maybe some yoghurt and fruit at breakfast would be nice.

This place is a little gem with wonderful owners Maurice and Paul. It is situated in the heart of Competa opposite the church. People with walking difficulties could find it a struggle because it's on a hill up some steps and there are several steps inside the accommodation. The honesty bar with pleasant background music playing and the breakfast are on the roof. The views are absolutely breathtaking from the roof and our balcony. Our room had a little tiny balcony facing the square and the church. Everything is very clean. The TV has Netflix and plenty of choice. There is a little complimentary drink and nuts in the room. Breakfast is served on the roof by the owner. Juice, coffee, oat porridge with peanut and then a compilation of ham/cheese wrap, avocado/salmon mouse and cake. Beautifully served and just enough to start the day. Free parking is in the municipal car park at the bottom of the hill, 5 mins walk uphill towards the church. Communication from the owners was superb prior to our stay. Free wifi. Complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits throughout the day in a little kitchen area. There is a lovely welcoming feel about the place. We felt totally relaxed and at home.

This is a superb little B&B, comfortable and stylish in the centre of the village. Maurice a is wonderful host and he and Paul have created a truly delightful place with great charm and attention to detail.

Superb in every way from helping us prior to our visit to helping us find our next location . The property was high quality with everything we needed. Bed was so comfortable! Air on etc etc great. Location vibe facilities breakfast all superb. Credit to the owners for the high quality they offer at a really good price.

Getting there is a difficult drive being a steep zig zagging road. But no other negative

The pre arrival information about the location and parking etc are the best I’ve ever encountered. The explanation from Maurice about the property, the village attractions etc were first class.

Great location overlooking the plaza. Maurice gave us a warm welcome and provided lots of information about the area. The rooftop honesty bar had beautiful views. Breakfast on the rooftop was a daily surprise cooked by Maurice. A fabulous place to stay and highly recommended.
