The bed and sheets were a little dirty and the room had a lizard or two in it. What is not mentioned in the description is that the hotel is not directly accessible via car. There is a large flight of stairs which you have to climb / go down (depending on the direction you go from) to reach the main gate. The hotel does send people to help carry luggage, but something to be aware of if you have very heavy luggage or people with accessibility issues. I was trying to get a car arranged for an airport pickup from the hotel, but the person on the other end of the message suddenly went AWOL for 12 hours before I landed so I had to manage it on my own.

The hotel was as per my expectations overall. I had paid for an extremely cheap accommodation for a single night where we could just rest and freshen up and Orchida fit the bill. It is very close to the promenade/corniche and so the location was perfect for us to walk around and find good breakfast nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful.

there are stairs to reach the hotel and there are stairs inside the hotel before you reach the lift.

The room was very small. The shower never worked, and we had to ask them to switch on the water. The breakfast was very basic. Terrible wifi. The area near the hotel is quite dirty.

Close to shops. Very friendly staff but wouldn't help us to book train tickets. The hotel organised a trip to Abu Simbel for us, although the trip was quite disappointing as we only got about 15 minutes in each of the two temples.

the street isn’t great and the hotel is a bit old. it’s a nice place if you reach at night and don’t wanna cross the river.

The was crowded The beds were too small Elevator was not working when we checked in but it was fixed later the same day Water pressure was weak early in the morning but a call to the main desk solved the problem right away

14’ or 16’ inches TV, no satellite channels poor sealing for windows, you can hear all the outside noises plus it was cold inside the room very small wardrobe no lock for toilet door lot of dust under beds
