A beautiful apartment in a stunning location. It's a few minutes walk from the historical centre and the castle. The apartment is beautifully renovated, keeping the old charm but with omfortable furniture and modern appliances. The host is very friendly and responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

After 25 years of travels in 30 countries, this is the house I have liked the most! A total surprise! The building is older than any museum, and all details in it are renovated with extremely good taste. Though the house is very old, the air inside is pure and the smell is good. It is even more romantic and mystical than in the pictures. The big apartment with 2 bedrooms is worth of extra money! In it, the 2nd bedroom is upstairs, even more romantic. The location is absolutely unique. The house is located next to a peaceful big park with old trees, ponds, birds etc. Still the main road is just 50 m away. 300 m to a supermarket, and the best restaurant of the town, "Ararat" is 600 m away. In other words, the house is both in the middle of the center and in a peaceful forest!

It is a real shame that there is the soundproofing issue

A lot of love and attention to detail has gone into this project. Very well done. It is a place where you would come even if you don’t have anything else to do in Rakvere.

The coach was loud when children slept on it but that's a small issue.

The design of the apartment was one of the reasons we stayed here. Everything was clean. The bathroom is big enough, the golden details are very nice. Children loved the mystery box :) Location is great, you can just walk up the hill and already be by the castle and see the beautiful view. Apartment had everything our family needed while staying there. We read about history of the house with interest and were amazed how much work has been put into it. It was also interesting to see the valuable things that were found while renovating.

Lovely renovated house in the centre of Rakvere. All the main attractions are within walking distance. The two-storey apartment is equipped with everything you need, lots of wonderful little details that create a special, very pleasant atmosphere. The property combines careful attention to its historic roots with modern amenities. Comfortable conditions for a pleasant rest and sleep. Highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Rakvere.

The sound insulation between apartments isn't so good. The man next door, who was as quiet as a mouse, had his phone alarm go off at 5.30am. It woke me, but not him apparently, as it went on for long minutes! I'm not sure how easy it is to fix this one little glitch, but its worth pointing out for those who are like me sensitive to noise.

This historic building has been brilliantly and sympathetically modernised. It's very warm, with underfloor heating, a comfy bed and absolutely no street noise. There are pictures on the wall of motorcylists outside the very same building perhaps in the 1930s or so. It's close to the centre of town. The liquid soap had ran out

The location was exactly where I needed to be and the building has been done up really nicely not only inside but the outside areas as well. If I happen to be back there and have extra time, I will definitely try and use the bikes.

In the mornings I hear how the neighbors are turning on the tap water or ventilation fan, I don't know. But that's ok I think. It could be nice if there would be some power outlet to charge a car (slow charging mode for hybrid cars)

It is built on old house ruins and everything is rebuild with almost "steam punk" design in the rooms. Everywhere you go, you won't feel like you're in a regular 4-5 star hotel, it is even better and more cozy. If I were travelling for work, I definitely choose this property too. There is WiFi and table is suitable to work with the laptop. I love the wooden ceiling, it is stress relieving to lie down watch it. Another thing is that you can park your car next to your windows.

Beautiful historical house in the middle of old Rakvere. Despite summer heat it was cool inside thanks to thick walls and fans. Stairs are steep, so the upstairs bedroom is not suitable for toddlers (there are safety gates on the bottom and top of the stairs) but it's perfect for older kids who want their own space.

It was a bit hot there so an air conditioner or climate would've been nice.

The place was lovely! It was just enough for two people to be honest. All the little elements the place had like wooden sealings and stone walls made the place really cozy. There is a nice little kitchen there which has everything you need for a little getaway. Also, we hadn't experienced this kind of view, which pointed to a beautiful park and everything was literally walkable. Thank you so much for the stay! R

The house is in a beautiful historical street very close to the centre of the town. At the same time it is quiet, no big traffic and nice park across the street. We stayed in 3 apartments and all of them were nicely renovated, with beautiful interiors, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchens and enough space.

Nothing to complain about, except there were some ants which didn't bother us too much.
