How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing to report, everything was perfect.
Quite well located hotel, just a short walk to the Old City, great staff that by the way gave us a room upgrade for free, good breakie and on the top of the iceberg, there is a spa which is a plus!! After walking up and down all day, the jacuzzi is very welcome! Totally recommended!

Well located. Around 20 min walking distance from Tallin Old Town- city centre. Very clean and the spa is a great place to rest after a long day exploring the city. Our 5 years old son loved the pool.

The only thing I did not like was that it was very noisy from the street and I could not sleep well. We did not want to close the windows...
The hotel is at great location, good spa, the rooms are spacy and it's clean. I liked a lot the bathroom.

Smokers on the neighbouring balcony
Very comfortable, modern, clean and pleasant hotel. 10 minutes walk to the old town. We had a balcony which was useful to sit out after a long day sightseeing. Enjoyed using the spa facilities. Nice breakfast buffet.

All minor: the room could probably do with a new layer of paint. The carpet in the corridor had a big stain and should be fixed. The door from the reception to the parking garage is difficult to pass when carrying luggages. This could be improved.
The hotel is located in a small quiet side street in the heart of Tallinn: pretty much all is within walking distance. We have stayed here before so we were aware of this. However, what made a very positive impression on us was the excellent air condition in the room. It was quiet and had no problem to cope with the scorching outside temperatures. It made our stay extremely pleasant. The hotel itself was pretty much perfect: very friendly staff, an excellently cleaned room, a breakfast that leaves little to ask for - we really appreciated the lactose free espresso/cappuccino/latte machine, a comfy bed, overall very quite, and a spacious bathroom with a shower that offers good pressure. Another pleasant surprise was that electric car charging was included in the parking fees. We also had a look at the gym this time. It seems to be quite well equipped, so that we regretted that we didn't take workout clothes with us.

Great hotel to stay in Tallinn. The location was good about 15min walk into the old town. The breakfast was really good, although it got really busy at the weekend and they did run out of yogurt one morning so get down early. Lovely spa facilities and open until 10pm. The room was really big with lots of space. The beds were quite comfy although they were on the hard side. Would definitely recommend, great value for money.

Everything was great!
Spa and breakfast were wonderful. Clean rooms, wonderful mattresses, helpful staff and efficient cleaning ladies. Amazing, small and affordable self-service traditional self-service restaurant two minutes away. Good location.

Being really picky, there were no complimentary refills of the coffee/tea in the room. Reception staff kindly provided refill sachets when asked.
I stayed for 3 nights with a friend and I would have happily stayed longer at the hotel. Spa facilities - Amazing, really clean, love the stone massage seats Breakfast - Superb, one of the highlights! Very fresh, huge range of options and lots of local options to try as well Room - Really clean and a lovely rainfall shower Location - Very central and such a safe destination.

I have nothing negative to report
When I'm traveling, I really appreciate staying in a modern hotel, preferably with breakfast included, so that I'm ready for a long day out exploring. Hestia Hotel Kentmanni is one of the better hotels I have stayed in, both in terms of the standard, staff, breakfast, and location. A good breakfast, with several different options, and a small but nice spa and fitness room. I definitely can recommend this hotel to those who are traveling to Tallinn.

Everything! Location is great. The room was cosy and clean, bed was comfy, breakfast was great! I wanted to book a parking place for my car, the hotel replied that the parking lot is full, but they kindly explained to me how I can find a parking place nearby. It was very useful. Thank you! Will definitely stay there next time!
