Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Lithuaniadirty windows, breakfast could be better, bathroom was dirty, supersmall bed for 2 people and the bed is too close to the window. backing it up would give some more sleeping space. and 2 rooms were separated by a door that our "neighbor" kept trying to open. not a safe feeling when in the shower.

ItalyAll was good
The room was essential but nonetheless it was comfortable and quiet. I was at the fifth floor with a nice view. The bed was comfortable and the shower was very good. The hotel has the bus stop to and from the airport a few minutes walking distance. I will use this hotel again in the future.

United StatesThere are several Wakeup Copenhagens, and I will stay in a different one next time. This is a little off the beaten path, although close to the Københaven H (Central) trainstation, which is nice. No restaurants nearby, however. I coffee machine or tea maker in the rooms would be very nice.
The beds are delightfully comfortable. The staff is very helpful and congenial (perfect English, of course). Rooms are small but very efficient. Breakfast is varied and good. I've stayed here before and was not disappointed!

United KingdomThe sheets seemed too small and kept coming adrift from the mattress and getting tangled up.
Quiet room, compact but adequate for a short stay. Close to the central train station. Buffet breakfast available, along with vending snacks in the evening. Large communal seating area in reception. It's about a 35 minute walk into central Copenhagen.

Location was close enough to a bus stop to take us into the centre of copenhagen. The twenty four hour barber reception was pretty good as we kicked at least by bottle of water in sandwiches before we left today

Very clean and has all the facilities even the iron room that this time was very necessary for me. The check-in and out very quick with the screen to make it faster and easy.

United KingdomThe shower fluctuated in temperature a lot anytime we used it, and room came with no ironing board so you have to go to the luggage room and use one in the corner that doesn't work very well.
Clean and comfortable beds with a lovely view, good location about 5-10mins from a bus stop to take you anywhere, or just rent a bike! Very easy as all flat. Right next to Meatpacking District, would recommend to go for drinks in the evening.

Canada(Standard Room) No hospitality slippers; no bath mat; no diverse options for vegetarian breakfast (focus on sliced meats); this Wake Up Copenhagen location is at least 1 km walk from any decent restaurant or social centre (hence the quiet ambience!)...
24-hour service; attentive staff with positive attitudes; bright; clean; quiet; plenty of electrical outlets around the room (re: for re-charging phones); immediate hot water;

FinlandThe hotel seemed to be far from the center, but the main train station was only about a 10-minute brisk walk away. The railway station had good connections everywhere. The shower room was really small and its walls were translucent, so sharing the room with someone other than a loved one would have felt awkward.
We were served at the reception by a very friendly and helpful man. Check-in was already possible before 9 o'clock in the morning and we were able to check out in the evening instead of 11 o'clock. We upgraded the room to the upper floors and it definitely paid off. The room was perfectly big enough for two and the view from the window was great. The room was very quiet. The breakfast room was large and bright and the selection very sufficient. Well worth the money.

United KingdomIt is quite basic, towels were a bit thin and only one pillow. The breakfast was decent but there wasn't much variety and one morning the queues were horrendous. I would have liked a kettle in the room but these are minor niggles.
Very reasonably priced hotel 10 minutes walk from the railway station. Clean comfortable room. Staff were very friendly. I especially liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom!
