The location was easy to find, conveniently located near the highway. Perfect for a stop in the center of the penninsula, easy to reach many nice places starting from Rosenhuset. The host was very nice and friendly, even offered fruit from her yard.

Rosenhuset is a few km from E45 in the countryside and not far from Haderslev. Very quiet at night. The hospitality is great, twin bed room: single bed is ok. Good parkingplace. Nice and quiet surrounding for a walk.

A fantastic place to stay. Great host who made us feel very much at home. We arrived on bikes after a long days cycle and she made us coffee and cake- also plums from her garden. Thoroughly recommended.

Everything was fine, only the beds were too soft for us. But this is just our preference and one bed can't meet everyone's expectations.

We liked everything

Very cute and comfortable place. We liked everything, also we enjoyed a new fluffy friend in room - Simba, the cat. As we are cat lovers, it was our choice that she could stay in room. The host was also very nice. I hope we will come back one day!

Wifi was patchy

Beautiful home in a quiet rural village, close to Haderslev. Hostess couldn't have done more to make us welcome. No hesitation in recommending this property to anyone.

We were welcomed by the host and she showed us the room and bathroom which are upstairs. She brought us a good cup of tea! Very nice! Danish, English, Norwegian, no problem! The room is not very big, but enough room to be with two persons with some luggage. The room has two good beds with comfortable matrasses. The room has enough wall outlets reachable from to the bed to charge devices. The bathroom is clean and modern. Everything worked well. The window gives a great view on the garden and farmland. We stayed one night to travel further south.

Friendly landlady waited up for us to arrive at 22:00, we had booked very late and were 1.5 hrs away. we only needed a stop over en route, the beds were comfy, the shower and bathroom amazing.... small coffee corner and some drinks in the fridge.....even a flat screen TV to chill with a latest episode on livestream a gem of a treat thank you!

Hanne's house is a fantastic pearl in the middle of the countryside. Every detail is cured to perfection, from the roses in the garden, to the details in the newly restored and perfectly clean bedroom and bathroom. The view from the bedroom's window is amazing and we had access to our own fridge, where we could store some of the food we had with us. In the morning we could make coffee and bring it out to have our own breakfast sitting under the roses looking at the landscape.

Music in the background during the night that spoil a bit the calm and beautiful place, must have been a concert somewhere near by, not the host's fault.

The house is really nice and it is indeed The Rouse House (Rosenhuset).

I have faith in humanity and Hanne is a vivid example. Here is the thing. We were cycling trough Denmark and was expected to come to Rosenhuset by 9pm. However, after getting lost due to GPS failure we ended up cycling about 180km, instead of about 160. So obviously we were late, hungry, and so flipping tired. Shops were closed at 10pm. When I informed Hanne that we were late, I got reply that she had to wake up the next morning early at 5:30 and leaver for work and she encouraged us to push harder. We arrived 23:15 and Hanne was awake and waited for us. When I just told her that we couldn’t buy food, she just smiled and said ”you guys are crazy!”. She showed rooms to us, explained showers, fridge etc and silently went back downstairs. After 2-3 minutes she came back with the most delicious food I have ever had. She brought a full platter with cheese, the Danish bread, butter, chocolate, fish, snacks and more. We were extatic and couldn’t thank Hanne enough. She waiting for us that late was one very nice gesture but offering food was exceptional. She is exceptional. She went downstairs once more and brought two ice-creams for us and said good night. I haven’t seen her again. She woke up early next day while we were asleep.
