The room is extremely simple and the bed is like a student bed , very very simple. But ok to sleep on for one night. But room felt a little hostel style , not really hotel style…

Rooms are rather small and functional. Cleaning was not done after first night and only after complaint after second night.

The location of the Hotel is awesome, close to both, the lake and downtown.

The WiFi was not very strong, list signal a lot and didn't allow me to use a VPN. Also the WiFi was not well secured, I could see all other guests on the network. Also a shower curtain is something i really don't like.

I really like the water pressure and heath of the shower. Also the beds are fine. Its practically to have parking next to the hotel.

Access to the bedroom and bathroom was slightly hampered by wooden thresholds which made wheelchair access more difficult. However the rest of the ground floor was well adapted with ramps where necessary and we had no problems.

The location was very peaceful yet close to the town centre. Breakfast was lovely with a good variety on offer. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Very poor value for price. All feels dated and room is a bit worn with basic facilities. No fan or ventilation, mo fridge, coffee/tea. No input source option on small TV to stream. Room overlooked dumpster and loading area. Few power outlets. Seems like there is not much competition in town….

Staff were kind and helped with good secure bike storage. Location is nice next to lake and park. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Breakfast was ok in pleasant large room.

Paid parking (via hotel bill) while there's plenty of parking space at the hotels terrain. Hotel is outdated and worn out. Old furniture, old rooms. Needs definitely an overhaul. Only one EV Charger (which was occupied, so I couldn't charge my EV).

Nice location. View over the lake during breakfast. Quiet room during stay.

The bar closed at 22.00 but the information sheet and signs in the hotel said 24.00, 15 not very happy guests told that it's closed and that's that 😥 very average breakfast, not a 3 * spread. Very noisy when the room above was using the shower, sounded like we had a waterfall in our room.

That the hotel had direct access to Haderslev Lake.

The room was slightly cramped and there was no air conditioning. I had to wedge the room door open with the window open to get enough draft to lower the room temperature, until bedtime of course.

Very helpful and cheerful receptionist, and attentive restaurant staff. Room allocated was on ground floor and close to parking as requested as I had a lot of luggage. The restaurant was a surprise - everything Cordon Bleu standard.

The Hotel Norden ticked all the boxes. Friendly and efficient staff, delicious food, and probably the best shower we have had whilst traveling through Denmark. We arrived after a long day on the bikes, and immediately felt at home.

Visitors to the Hotel are directed to the Hotel Car Park which is open with no security. At check-in, asked to pay 45DKR for parking the car. When asked what happens if we do not pay, we were told a fine of 100DKR would be added to our bill. We arrived on Sunday evening at 20.30 and will be leaving at 6AM Monday, so who will check the car park during this time we asked? It will be checked and you will be fined was the reply of a very petulant/arrogant young man! We shall not return to Hotel Norden.

it was tired in places and the room was small and poorly equipped. A kettle and tea or coffee or of have been a welcome touch. Breakfast was adequate.
