the friendliness of the receptionist, the restaurant staff and the cleaning staff! Everything was exceptionally clean and the location for traveling further at the edge of Odene was very good! the motel idea for the kro was clever and unexpected.

My husband wasn’t overly happy with his bed!

Breakfast was great! It had all I wanted, plus a whole lot more! Coffee was hot and fresh! I enjoyed the orange juice too! The seating area in our room was very comfortable! My husband complained a little about a sore back after his sleep but I was fine in my bed! All in all it was great! We are presently at our 3rd B&B during our holiday stay and our sofa at this place is not comfortable! Therefore, your B&B ranks the top during our 11 day stay in Denmark! That says a lot because I am a critical person! I also don’t hold back the truth when asked a question! I’m not sure if that is because I’m Danish born and my expectations are higher, I think so! ( I believe Danes are more critical than most people in this world. We tend to be fussy! Anyways, it was truly a lovely stay! Top marks!

Staff really didn’t like to spend time in the reception. Had to wait forever for people who never showed up.

Decent in every way. Worn but clean. Perfect for an overnight stop driving through Scandinavia. Nice food in the restaurant.

Lack of a proper wall outlet in the room. Reception is almost never around so asking questions and checking in or out is very difficult unless you wander around the building looking for staff to assist.

Shower was broken off so had to be hand held. But I told the staff and they said that they would fix it. Also the hall way carries sound - if you are a light sleeper it may be annoying.

It's a motel, more than a hotel. Small bed, small room, but comfi enough. Very friendly staff, who brought me my dinner (traveling with dog, who of course couldn't go in the restaurant and I don't like leaving her alone in new places)

There was no hair dryer or a shampoo/shower gel in the room; the heating didn't seem to work (maybe I did something wrong); there was only one electricity socket located in strange place The choice on breakfast was very limited and the food on the plates was not added to often, so you needed to eat what is left

The restaurant was apparently "full" when we arrived at about 9 pm in the evening. As there are no other restaurants in the vicinity, and restaurants within driving distance all close at 10 pm, we had to eat a sandwich from a petrol station for dinner. So that was disappointing. If we had known we couldn't eat in the restaurant, we would have booked a different hotel.

Our room was no-frills and suitably spacious with a sofa. The breakfast was simple but did the job.

Great hostel design which we really love. Thank you for being kind explaining things. We enjoyed a nice shower and slept well and watched a tv a bit - some english channels possible to tune. Breakfast was tasty. Helped to start the day.

Shouting and door slamming by other guests every evening. Window was not secured, so had to sleep with closed window during hot nights.

There was not even once anybody in the reception. Walkef through there 6 times. When we checked out I had to ask cleaning lady sho took me to the kitchen were the receptionist was. Room was very worn out and baz ventilation. Location was the worst, it was was situated located right in corner of two main roads.

The place and its interior is very, very outdated. Their main clientele probably don't mind as they are obviously more drawing an older crowd. How is it possible anno 2023 that there is 0 outlet to plug in a phone charger. I had to unplug a light and the tv for that. (yes both otherwise it does not fit), both of these were kinda old also. The walls are also quite thin, I could easily enjoy the neighbors XXX video's playing. I think if I had to make up the price for it I wouldn't go beyond 2/3 of what I paid.

it's close to the highway, so perfect when your overnighting during a trip. A decent breakfast was available.
