Key card access to the courtyard would have been convenient. Given the layout of the buildings, you had to enter from the street, go up a flight of stairs, then either take an elevator or stairs back down to ground level, walk through a hallway/courtyard, then proceed up to the guest rooms. To leave the hotel, there was a door directly from the courtyard, but it did not allow access (even with a room key) for entry. A minor inconvenience, but would have been appreciated.

Easy to find hotel right on the canal. The staff were very kind and the room was as expected. The beds were comfy and the bathroom had enough space. The windows opened into a courtyard between the buildings and was perfect for fresh air while still being quiet and private. The lobby had free coffee/tea and umbrellas available to borrow which were helpful given the unpredictable weather. We stored our bags on the last day with no issues while we continuted to explore before our evening flight home.

Second time in Copenhagen, so we had a rough idea of where we wanted to visit, but this time with the family. Choose Hotel Bethel for its location, and it offered family rooms. It is very easy to get to from the main station as the bus stops just to the side of it. All main places to visit within a 20 min walk and loads of options to eat within a stones throw of the hotel.

A warm welcome upon arrival set the tone for a lovely stay in this hotel and this warmth from the staff continued throughout the weekend. Beautiful characterful building with a relaxed modern comfortable interior. Location was perfect. Breakfast was lovely with a good range of food of high quality to choose from. We didn’t want to leave. Special thanks to Morgen, Pang & Miriam and latters knowledge of history of building as a charity for sailors was impressive, especially as the hotel ethos is to continue giving money to charities supporting sailors today. Very noble

Wonderful front desk staff - Miriam was exceptional. Hotel is close to everything, tourist sites, restaurants, shopping etc. Coffee/tea available all day was a nice touch

There was a small step up into the bathroom that was easy to forget about. I almost tripped a couple of times.

It was clean and quiet. Very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was a very nice common area where my husband was able to do some work on his laptop.

Comfortable room. Windows opened wide to allow fresh air. Reception area was very pleasant to sit and have a tea or coffee. Breakfast was excellent. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!!! Wow!

We had a view of Nyhavn which was great but it was very noisy in the evenings at the weekend and also on monday morning when workmen started. Shower curtain was a bit annoying but thats a minor thing.

Location is superb, so handy to everything! Hotel offered free tea and coffee which was a great touch. Room was basic but clean and more than sufficient for a short stay.

Our room was a little on the small size, but it was clean and comfortable and the view made up for any slight deficiency of size.

We had a great view of the canal and were very well placed to walk to a number of attractions and restaurants. The Continental breakfast provided was varied, fresh and perfect for our needs. We found our room clean and comfortable. The staff were generally friendly and efficient, while the reception staff were also knowledgeable and helpful. The key card system worked for entry, lift use and bedroom door, which made us feel safe.
