It's the first spa hotel I visit where the spa is not included. We didn't read that well and discovered on arrival. We went to make an appointment immediately, but everything was already fully booked for our whole stay except 7am the next morning. I would expect at least access to the pool to be included in the room price. There was no information at the reception of what the spa offers (the answer was: "just look on the internet"). The spa access is a pool in- and outside, one sauna and one steam bath for 40 euros per person. We had to stress to wake up early to still have time for breakfast, but the sauna was only on the right temperature at 9am due to problems. Anyhow... all with all not the best experience even if the whole facility is of high quality. The thing in the room that bothered me is that some of the curtains were too small (like missing 1m to close it) so light came in very early in the room which was not really great for my sleep.

The suite was totally worth it with the breath taking view and space. Breakfast was good as well with a lot of choice of cheeses that we appreciated :-). Internet was very stable allowing me to work and have video calls. The whole design of the room was nice and modern with high quality furniture. The whole hotel smells really great. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. High end fitness facilities from Techno gym.

E-Car charging. I have to say it was a nightmare. First time I got a rental e-car but charging it was more than challenging. No disrespect to Hotel Alsik, maybe the parking house does not even belong to you. But if I do not have some very good Danish friends with me I do not know how I would have managed. This app-based e-charging is a real nightmare including not having enough network at the parking house so the app could just not work. There should be a station where you can pay with a credit card.

Dinner at restaurant Alsik was under average and far too expensive compare to the quality. It is much better to go out and eat in the town. That’s our only complaint. The rest was very fine.

Parking should either be free or discounted. DKK 120 per day for a five star hotel is not okay. We were also quite disappointed when we realised that the use of the pool was NOT included. The daily cleaning service for the room was okay, but certain things weren't replenished (milk for coffee, water, bathrobe).

We really liked our room, the size was great for a 6 night stay and the location was amazing. I really appreciate that the hotel did their best to find us a lovely room after I asked for a room on a higher floor. The air condition was a must for us and it worked well and the staff was excellent. Breakfast was great, but after the third or fourth time it gets quite repetitive because it never changes.

In the spa area they have a separate area with a pool for small children, which could only be used for 2 hours in the morning at the same when breakfast was served.

I didn't get a room with a view of the water.

The room was very clean and above average. Bed was comfy and toilet was spacious. I liked the sensor lights next to the bed. Breakfast was excellent and there was a wide range of items in buffet.
