It is more convenient to spend the night in any hotel than in a car. We were too tired to see the flaws

We could not get into the apartments pre-booked through the Booking service due to the owners' problem with the code lock. So at midnight we had no other choice. Fortunately for us, we were able to stay at Hotel Medaillon at such a late hour. At that time it was the best choice for us.

Due to roadworks the hotel was very hard to reach. We had to park somewhere else and walk quite the distance. The room itself used to be a smoking-room, this can still be smelled clearly.

Maybe it was the late hour (22:00-ish) or just the middle of the week but the neighborhood was a little strange, with weird people hanging around and no place to buy anything if you don't have cash. An ATM or two are available, but it's a minor inconvenience - not the fault of the hotel of course, just come prepared ;)

A reasonably price in a weird neighborhood. The bathrooms are almost squeaky clean and the beds are comfortable and smell fresh. There is a minibar fridge in the room, with hotel-level prices, and a restaurant with a Serbian-Jugoslavian theme, so if you fancy a cevapcici at nine in the evening - this is your spot!

There was nothing to dislike about the hotel or our overnight stay. We booked 30 minutes before arrival and found everything in order.

Excellent service from start to finish. The hotel has a large area of private space around it and a safe parking area. It also provides a large space for animals. The hotel is very accessible for wheelchair users and caters for all their needs. Comfortable, clean and well organised. We were welcomed into the hotel and breakfast room also with our dog. The breakfast was a buffet and abundant with cooked food, cerials, sliced meats and cheeses. The staff were on hand to help. The room was very comfortable and well heated. The room was complete with two separate beds, desk, chairs and a large wardrobe also a TV and mini bar but lacked a coffee service, a member of staff advised that guests were not willing to pay the little extra for this, what a pity. The bathroom was fully equipped for the less able guests and very roomy (quality equipped floor level shower). We ate at the restaurant that the hotel advised was part of the hotel but at a distance of 700 metres, a good distance to help digest the evening meals. We obtained a substantial discount because we were staying at the hotel. The food was excellent and the salad bar/buffet had everything in abundance and as much as you wanted. Our dog was allowed in with us and was very happy in this relaxed, very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. We hope to be able to return.
