washroom toilet is difficult to flash; toilet paper holder is placed at bad position always hurts my legs when passing by; shower is easy to leak out; hand wash detergent is hard to push out. And, internet signal is very weak in the room, most time could not get connected

The cathedral bells ring at 6 am and 7 am but the hotel is not responsible. I have stayed at this hotel before so I was prepared.

It is centrally located opposite the cathedral, close to the river and the principal tourist sights, shops and restaurants.

The noise of the teenagers/revellers late at night and the rumble of some passing cars was audible, but that's not anything the hotel can do anything about.

After getting minimal or no breakfast at the places I stayed at in Venice, Trieste and Ljubljana, it was nice to get a decent, varied breakfast at this hotel. Plus they had tourist maps available and the location next to the cathedral and only a 5 - 10 minute walk from the train station is hard to beat.

Perfect location directly opposite the Cathedral. Well equipped rooms, clean, comfortable. Excellent breakfast, parking a short walk from the hotel. The sights are reachable in a few minutes by a walk. Many restaurants and bars nearby.

Occasional noise from plumbing or air condition. Not too bad, though.

Location could not be better. Step out of the door and you have the Dom right in from of you. The breakfast room had the original gothic ribbed vaulting still visible. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Cathedral bells a bit quieter!!!

The rooms are very basic and simple but clean and comfortable, we had two single rooms which were a perfect size. Breakfast room was lovely with its vaulted ceiling and everything fresh and nice. perfect location although the bells woke us up as it is right next to the cathedral! Lovely old building, nothing fancy about this hotel but a great place and we would book this again if we returned to Regensburg.

Cyclists friendly hotel. Historic building opposite the cathedral in the centre of Regensburg. Everything of interest in the historic centre is easily accessible on foot within a few minutes. Nicely equipped rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast. I was very satisfied, the very next month my girlfriend and I stayed at the Kaiserhof am Dom again.

Room isolation is very very bad you can hear all sounds outside especially sounds of other rooms, breakfast is not as expected. Room is empty, no even refregerator.

I only have two issues with this hotel, the larger one is the soundproofing: I sleep with earplugs in so this isn't a problem for me, but if you don't have them you will be able to hear the corridor on your floor and some of the other rooms. The only other issue is much smaller (especially when the breakfast is usually included), but I would love to see some cooked egg available at breakfast (the breakfast gives you some decent options for bread, meats, cheeses and sweet things - but nothing warm).

Excellent location and reasonable price (especially for the area). The rooms are comfy and have everything you'd need and the staff are friendly. It's about a 15 minute walk from the main station and very close to the stop for the Line A bus (if you would prefer to not walk). Main attractions in the old town are all within very easy walking distance from the hotel and bus stops for further local trips are only about 5-10 minutes away. This is my second time staying here and I will always consider this hotel when I travel to Regensburg.
