How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Quite loud all night due to the trains etc so you might find it harder to sleep. I booked for this reason so didn’t bother me

It is perfectly ok for one night stay, but not for anything longer. Our room was tiny, barely enough for 2 persons with 2 suitcases (but that is indicated). Lots of construction works around the property. Towels of unpleasantly greyish color - they were clean, just well worn. The staff could not indicate location of Lufthansa Express bus stop.
Location close to Munich central station - perfect for traveling further. Breakfast was ok.

The coffee should have been a little bit stronger. There was a big construction going on in the neighbor. They started at 7.00 every morning.

Lots of building work going on around it. Not particularly aesthetic environment.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location near the central station and an easy walk into the. City. Room, clean with all amenities as advertised, clean and working.

I don't like that I still hear the guest from other rooms or from the balcony even the windows and doors are closed, maybe work more on sound proofing. That would be nice.
I like the location it's walking distance to the train station, restaurants, supermarkets and etc. Will definitely book again in the future.

quite basic hotel and basic common areas. Room was nice and calm but there was building activity in the whole neighborhood so noisy day time. Would have been nice to know about it before hand

There was major construction and noise all around the hotel. Sidewalks were redirected and this left us with a poor first impression- would have been helpful to be warned about this before hand. The room was very small for two people. The bathroom was also tight for one person.
Breakfast was very good and the attendant was very friendly and helpful. Front desk attendant was also friendly and helpful.

Every thing was perfect but the location is little bit noisy because of construction work. Otherwise all things are good.
A very good hotel, location was good and most importantly very near to center of the Munich. The staff person was very humble and cooperative. We reached lately at night our keys , room was prepared all accessories was set by the hotel staff. I like the way they provided us guidelines for getting the room key it was very nice experience with them. Thanks !

The bathroom basin is very small and the design is bad as the water spilled to the counter top and overflow to the floor.l
The hotel is conveniently located above the Munich Central Station. However, due to construction, the direct path to the hotel has been closed. Thus we had to go round other buildings to get to the hotel. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. I was totally impressed by a staff who offered to keep an eye on my violin which he allowed me to leave at the reception table instead of the luggage room. Thanks so much.

The location unfortunately there was construction right next to the hotel and across the street. So, this caused the street to be closed right next to the hotel. Construction started at 7am every morning!

There was a warning about building work during the day but this was worse than expected as it started at 7 am every day and was very noisy.

It has nearby construction and you have to go around the street to get to the hotel by foot from the Munich HBF train station
