Air con took a while to cool the room down. But not too much of an issue.

Good location right on the river. There were benches outside the rooms that anyone in the hostel can use. Room was comfortable with en suite. Fridge in room. Hostel on the main drag albeit at the far end. Still super close to everything though.

The bathroom was rather basic.

The position of the hotel was excellent . You could comfortably watch thr boats on the river a nd the sunsets from the nice seating area. Cute little bar also on the premises.

There were 2 cockroaches we found in the room, but I'm not sure if they were there originally or if we left the door open at some point. The staff doesn't speak very much English but that wasn't a big issue.

The area around the hotel was really cool and well decorated, with a nice spot by the river to sit and relax. The air conditioning in our room (E) worked really well. The staff was really nice and they don't enter your room during your stay if you book more than 3 days.

Was a little bummed that the bar on site, which they said to be open from 5-9, but it never was open. There’s plenty of other places to have a drink but we also wanted to enjoy the quiet and comfort of being close to our room when we just go into town.

The staff especially Adrian who hustled really hard to get us some Turtle tours last minute, was amazing and was the most friendly person and family! We ran into him many times in the town and he was always asking how things are. Such a great guy and truly made the trip the best!

Great location at the end of the village. Staff were lovely & very welcoming. They arranged pick up from the airport for us. Nice little bar overlooking the river with many cocktails available. Good aircon. We loved the resident dogs.

Every night beatles and small crabs came to our room. They were easy to remove but a little bit annoying. The toilet quality was weak, it didn’t flush well even after the staff tried to fix it.

The tour guide who escourted us to the hotel, was friendly and give us comprehensive info about Tortuguero and tours. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Room had an effective A/C. The location was great: a calm place right next to the water at the main road.

The room was quite big and had good A/C. The location is great and everything is in walking distance. The staff was friendly and helped us out when we had any questions. Just keep in mind that there isn’t any possibility to eat breakfast there.

Toilet separated but not up to the ceiling which is weird. No mosquito net which is an actual problem in Tortuguero.

The listing says they have toiletries, so we assumed they would have shampoo, but they don't.

Location and the helpful staff made this stay memorable. Beautiful view of the lagoon that seems to have a life of it is own. The AC was necessary and worked well. The fridge was nice to have.

Great location just at the end of the strip. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The room was big, clean and had a good shower. They have a great bar at the property that does really good cocktails (recommend the Caipirinha), almost certainly the best in Tortuguero and the best we had in two weeks in Costa Rica. The boat from the mainland also collects/drops off at the property.

The deluxe room is very small indeed and opens to the entrance gate and wall, which means you have to keep curtains closed all time. It’s humid and you get some insects and small crabs in the room - perhaps understandable in a tropical place but still a bit unpleasant.

The location is fantastic, at the one end of a small town, right by the river. There’s a little bar open in the evenings with music, beautiful view and great cocktails. Friendly and nice owner.

Perfectly located next to the river and right by town so you are close to restaurants, markets, beaches, and national park. Hot water and AC worked perfectly, and there was a big fridge inside as well. There’s also a bar with happy hour and drinks are delicious. You can enjoy a drink and watch the sunset. Staff was welcoming and friendly, even though I don’t speak much Spanish. They helped organize our trip from La Pavona and we were dropped off right in front of our hotel
