This property is a gem! My family and I were visiting from San Diego and one of our stops was in Nara. Kyokosan made us feel at home with the breakfast, treats and hospitality she provided. It is also hard to find accommodations in Japan that are the size of western homes but this one is very spacious. I only wished we would have spent more time to be able to enjoy the home more.

It’s a cozy hotel. I like the toilet and bathroom and the sink are all separated, very convenient for 2 people staying. And the bed is really comfy. Location is excellent.

Location was terrific. Lots of it restaurants nearby and a short to the train. Bathroom was easy to use. It was great to have a small kitchen.

I loved staying in Shinkunzu, very close to the night life and serves by a quite metro station.

The rooms was tiny, pretty common in Japan but smaller compared to other places I have stayed in. The staff is not particularly friendly, they have most of the work digitalised anyway
