Door to the bathroom didn't have a privacy screen, so we had to work around it whenever someone needed to use the toilet or shower.

It’s too near to the main road and the sound proofing from level 3 was quite bad especially when there is construction going on at the opposite site.

The bund is great, but in my opinion, the best areas of Shanghai are a little far from where you’re at here. The options close by for food and coffee seemed very much like chains, so going out felt like a big undertaking.

The location is great for exploring the Bund and being very close to a couple metro lines. Having coffee and water available downstairs was awesome.

The location was not great. Although not very far from the Bund and People square, the neighbourhood was not very nice with lot of constructions and traffic. Staff at reception was not very friendly

The breakfast was excellent. The room was perfect - very clean with seriously comfortable beds. The hotel is a couple of minutes from the Metro and I spent my 3 days jumping on and off the Metro which got me all over Shanghai and to the airport on my last day. However the very best part was the super welcoming staff on the Reception Desk. They helped me book tickets, changed my currency and went way above the call of duty to answer any questions I had. They even booked me some tickets for a Beijing museum when I couldn’t obtain them via the website. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again if I were to return to Shanghai. I was traveling on my own and the area felt super safe too.

The breakfast was great and offered a diversity of western and Chinese food. Hotel has a laundry room where you can do your laundry for free, with detergent provided. Hotel location was within walking distance to Yu Garden, the old shopping street and even the Bund.

The lobby and restaurant have been renovated since we were last there and the hotel was better lit than before. The rooms we had were the smallest in the hotel and even then the space is adequate. Our room was on the second floor and at times we heard running water or continuous draining of water. It is as if there was a washing machine right above.

We had a room on 3. Floor, so it was a bit noisy as it was facing the street. Some staff at the reception weren’t the most friendly ones. There is a laundry room with washing machine and driers to use for free, which is really great. But I was not very satisfied with the results of the washing.

The location was great! The garden restaurant with the terrace was really nice. Overall good value for money!

The hotel entrance, that ramp is too steep for pushing the trolley luggage, have to lug the heavy luggage via the steps for check-in and check out.

Location is good, near to metro line 10, can connect to anywhere in the city. Nice hotel with good spread of breakfast. The complimentary laundry washing machine is just good and handy. Enjoy our stay.
