Lights in room annoying to control and automatic lights in cupboards don’t always switch off so light pollution at night. No action taken by staff after I reported it!

Best hotel in Shanghai I have ever stayed. The location is excellent, just next to the Jinan Temple, many major malls and trend roads. But what separates it apart is the hotel’s amazing service. From the moment we stepped out of our car to anywhere we went in the hotel, we have been greeted with the warmest help. Special thanks to Hank and Goslin who had been ever so patiently assisting us extending the stay. And to Zoe who went above and beyond to get medication for our little boy. Lastly, the room is just glamorous, so spacious and tasteful decoration.

The air purifier and humidifier is right next to the bed and I got a sore throat after the second night. This could be also a coincidence, but the cold air is blown directly on the bed.

The service and personnel was very friendly. I liked the gym and the pool very much. Also relaxing after the gym in the sauna was great. The room was great, with great service and it was very clean.

The location to the main lobby can be hard to find at first because it is in the back. The pool is a bit cold, even though it is supposed to be heated.

The room and staff at Puli are exceptional. The room was pleasant and bright, and all of the amenities were ideal. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a relaxing vacation where they expect to spend some time relaxing in the hotel room.

An exceptional stay at The Puli in Shanghai! Perfectly located by JinAn Temple and subway, the hotel offers great convenience. The staff, notably Charlene Yuan, were superb, providing service in fluent Chinese and English. We were pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to a spacious room, complete with modern amenities. The added luxury of fresh fruit in our room was delightful. The breakfast, with a wide variety of fresh, tasty Western options, was a daily treat. Can't wait to return!

I'm a vegetarian so more vege options on the in room service and hotel restaurant for dinner would be great. But Shake Shack is close by which has vege options.

The decor, rooms, gym, location, service was amazing! The best hotel I've stayed at in China! The service was next level. The cocktails at the lobby bar were incredible too. The breakfast was so good, love how you can order off the menu and order several dishes as well as choose from the buffet.

It is very expensive. If you stay there, plan to spend time and take advantage of the amenities, especially the swimming pool. The gym has decent equipment but I would only give it a B-.

The Puli is an exceptional hotel. Every detail is superb. The perfect bathtub next to one of the giant windows has a proper pillow. Can't make it up. Do not miss the pool. It's epic.
