The location was very convenient. There was a lot around - shopping and dining. The staff was also very nice and attentive. My flight changed last minute and they were able to help with a speedy check out and airport transportation.

The Middle House is in a perfect location right on Nanjing Rd, connected to one of the best malls in Shanghai and across the street from a metro hub and the lovely Zhang Yuan area. The hotel has superb rooms and facilities with a fantastic indoor pool, gym and sauna. The rooms was decorated with great care and was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was very good and provided a great start of the day. Finally, the staff was just superb, very attentive and thoughtful during the whole stay adding continuous personal touches to our stay. Cannot recommend enough the Middle House!

The location of the hotel was perfectly situated in Shanghai! Originally we wanted to stay in one of the many 5 star hotels on the popular Bund river, but this location had so much more to offer! It was conveniently situated to walk, just about anywhere for restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. The staff were very accommodating and ever so friendly and made our stay very enjoyable with their recommendations and local tips. Most, if not all, staff spoke good, if not very good English and were used to an international level of service with a smile! Nothing was too much for them! A special mention for Bruce, Nick and Judy who were all absolute stars and were always full of energy and smiles!!!
