Our host made the most delicious breakfast every morning, preparing many different dishes with so much love and care. She was so generous with her time and treated us to multiple tea ceremonies during our stay. The dining area and our room were located around a delightful courtyard and garden with a large pond. Every day would see ducks swimming and squirrels scampering around the trees. Our room was tastefully furnished with many nice details including a lovely tea set with a different tea to try each day, delightful small snacks and incense. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had an amazing and relaxing stay and were so impressed by the quality of our experience. We'll definitely stay here again!

Water temperature (shower) sometimes difficult to control.

What we like abt this place is something that many inns/hotels don’t have. Genuine care for the guests’ well being, attention to details, not to mention the excellent service that the team has provided for us. Esp. Xiao Chen and the inn keeper her self. Room rate and prices of the goods sold here are fair and decent for the quality. Many corners of this beautiful inn are work of art. The owner is like a painter who needs a bigger canvas. I wish she has a bigger landscape /space for more people to enjoy lots of great stuffs here: tea brewing, yummy vegetarian dishes. Place is tranquil. If we want to enjoy Su He, this place is a great place to stay. Or if you simply want to have relaxing retreat, wu ai dang is a great place to stay. Another plus point: the inn keeper recommended transportation service (Wan Wan) to us. She is really really a great driver and guide. Very polite and provide the same genuine care for us. She arranged one day trip around Lijiang which includes a couple of places that many do not know (feeding the flying seagulls, visiting beautiful shrine) and we had yummy local foods together.

Just two. Provide more hanging areas for our clothes and towels please! And a bidet spray.

I have the luxury of travelling for leisure at least twice a year, and I have always enjoyed staying in homely accommodations that allow for local interactions to learn more about the culture and the area that I am in. 吾爱堂 is one of these homely accommodations that have far exceeded my expectations in every single way, and whilst I hope that they remain an undiscovered gem - it is important to give credit when its due. 1. Room Room was spacious, beautiful and provided amenities like bedroom slippers, toiletries, towels and Chinese tea apparatuses. It was cold when we went and we didn't know how to work the heating systems - but once we expressed that - every single night our room had the electric blanket, heaters all turned on before we came back from touring to keep us warm and toasty. Even the incense was replenished. Outside the windows you are surrounded by nature - from squirrels to trees to flowers. 2. Staff The staff - they were impeccable in every single way - in helping us with recommendations for everything, arranging transport in and out of the 古镇 to places we wanted to go to. We had arranged for a day hike, and the staff gave us an overwhelming amount of snacks and told us to take care and not over exert ourselves. Breakfast was a lovingly curated elegant Chinese vegetarian smorgasbord of amazing, healthy food. We learnt how to appreciate Chinese tea as we sat down with the owner for tea most mornings - we really slowed down, had time to immerse ourselves in nature and heal. It was so cold in Lijiang when we came, but it was really their warmth, their kindness, their sincerity that warmed our hearts. 3. Space The entire space, once stepped in, feels like a secret world that has been built to be at one with nature. It is artistic, elegant, and soothing. There are occasional gentle smells of incense, sounds of rustling leaves - and the sighting of the inn's cat - it is breathtaking to have been a part of it. 谢谢你们的细心关照，吾爱唐的溫馨氣氛，我们难以忘怀!

The warm and caring hospitality, the attention to detaills, the exquisite and delicious food, the asthetics of the entire place - indeed all special and very rarely to be found. WuAiTang is a true and precious gem. We enjoyed the time we spend with everybody here very much and keep our joint temple visit in warm memory. Lasr but not least - never miss a breakfast here, it's absolutely delicious. We will come back one day!

This place was a truly magical experience for me. As soon as I got to the territory of the inn, it felt like a different world. Very peaceful and warm, a perfect place to slow down and connect to your inner self. The rooms there are spacious and full of light. Unique wooden furniture, couldn't take my eyes off it. They have a small pond there with fish and flowers nearby. And at least one squirrel, which, if lucky enough, you will sometimes hear running on the trees right outside your window. Everything inside the rooms and at the outside area is made with love and care. The same attitude you get from the people who work there, who are very friendly, helpful and extremely polite. They take care of every need of yours. This is a kind of place you want to come back to while you're still there, this is how me and my friend felt. And I know for sure we'll be back there some day.
