I was the guy who got the cheapest booking.com room with the super bad luck on the 4ht floor, at the far end of the passage. the room was somewhat run down.

Air con was off for the entire hotel all weekend. Would not allow me to pay with Amex even thou they advertise they take Amex, even at the front counter it has an Amex advert. But would not allow it. I would not have booked here if i knew this. Wifi is also not set up correctly and could not connect.

They forgot to add our breakfast (included in our rate) make sure you have booking info with you and use Google translate or ALIPAY translate to communicate. Decor was a little dated but was fine. Breakfast need more western options as very limited and not use to eating soup for breakfast.

Nice hotel. Brilliant location. Huge room. Booked a suite as not much more money and worth it. Enormous bed and very comfy. Staff did not speak much English but use Google translate.. very easy. They all use it

The hotel internal structure is a little weird where rooms stationed in the sub-level will have to access the rooms via narrow stairs after exiting the lift. Simply put; our room was on level 6 (however, we have to take the lift to level 6, and walk down a small section of stairs making it seemingly level 5.5). This is inconvenient and dangerous with large luggages. Unsure if its due to the weather (we visited in April, with an average temperature around 15 degree celcius) or the old condition of the hotel, the air-conditioning in the room isn’t working. Even when I tried adjusting the temperature to “cool” + “high speed” + “15 degrees”. I was literally sleeping in sweat.

The hotel is located directly opposite of a metro station, reachable within 5 mins. It is located right downtown in area with lots to do and see. A famous pedestrian shopping district was just right the corner. The hotel housekeepers were friendly and greeted us each time they sees us. The front desk personnel was also helpful with the questions we had.

For a non-smoking room, the room/floor smelled worse than a Las Vegas casino. The smell of cigarette smoke was extremely strong and bothersome.

We are very upset that our visit has been tainted by the hotel not refunding our deposit 4 weeks later. We paid £230 which is a lot of money. We were told on check out this would be refunded (minus half a day’s stay due to late checkout). However, we still have not received this and the hotel have not responded to my emails! Please rectify this.

It was a very typical Chinese hotel. Room was very dated. Hotel room was quite clean but could use a touch-up. Staff did not speak English. I would not stay again. Also the price per night was expensive for the quality of the room.
