First of all, it would be nice if they can put a partition between the toilet and the shower therefore the bathroom will be dry. The may need to insoect the aircond in room 401 where I stayed because the aircond makes funny noises whenever it was on. I forgot to mentioned this during my stay.

I like that the staffs were attentive and very nice, the location is near the plaza and the room is very clean.

Very good location. Close to the subway and the wall gate, one of the main attractions of the city. The staff was helpful with booking taxi to the airport and to the Terra-cotta army museum. The distance to bus no 603, which takes you to the terra-cotta army is ca. 1 hr by the subway. It was a good rate for the quality you get.

The room is rundown. Walls are dirty, many things are old/deteriorated. I think the pictures aren't updated. The twin room is a bit uncomfortable, not much space around the table area. The shower drainage was clogged, the whole bathroom flooded

The water flow was quite slow and difficult to adjust the water temperature for the shower. The pillows and some bed sheets were a little bit dusty.

I like the atmosphere and the decoration of the hotel. I like the fact they do have 2 cats who gave birth to 3 lovely kittens! It is a quite and well located hostel. From the Subway to the hostel, it is only 5-minute walking!

The bedroom door is not too soundproof, so you could hear people talking in the hall way. The water pressure in the shower was very low, but there is hot water. However, once you had a shower, the entire bathroom floor was wet. They gave us slippers though, which helped.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bedrooms were clean and the beds extremely comfy. Every day we got fresh towels, water bottles and our beds were made. The location was quiet though close to a subway station and lots of shops and restaurants.

There is no shower curtain so water can spill everywhere and floor became wet, which is a potential security hazard. Recommend to improve.

The location is good, close to Yongxingfang and entrance to the Wall. It’s also walking distance to metro that goes to the major sights of interest. Facilities are acceptable at this rate. Staff are super nice and helpful.

This small hotel has up to level 4 which means 5th floor in some countries and it doesn't have a lift, which is hard for the elderly like us.

Staff can speak some English and very helpful with travel information. At 3am, Mr Wang woke up as arranged, to secure a taxi ride for us to the airport. For independent travellers, this service is most useful. More often than not my vpn and translation apps don't work and making phone calls in Chinese is all but impossible. We moved from a more expensive and modern hotel to this one because of language difficulties there. Also, it is close to Chaoyangmen Metro station which is just outside the city wall.
