A wonderful oasis just steps away from the hustle and bustle of Beijing. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay an incredible life experience which we will never forget. Delicious breakfasts served in there cosy dining area, complimentary afteroon tea served on the roof top patio and a personal gift on departure. We were treated like family and felt like we were at home. We lived the all day long complimentary refreshments too. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all the staff.

Very friendly staff, afternoon tea and beef noodles provided each day and free bottled water. We felt like we were welcomed into a local home, it was excellent. The staff helped us out with getting taxis and transport as we couldn’t work the Chinese alps too, which we really appreciated.

Thank you to the entire staff at Xinxiang Yayuan for looking after us so well. This is a quintessential hotel located in a hutong and offered such a traditional experience. We were welcomed with afternoon tea every day and the staff always checked in on us to ensure all our needs were met. I loved the fact that the rooms are super high tech yet the hotel itself has maintained its Siheyuan character so you really get an authentic experience. I highly recommend this for anyone visiting Beijing. Thank you for the lovely memories!

It’s a great place. We have been here two times already and would always come back when we are in Beijing. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. And all the little things around the place, like the tea time and around the clock food, make it really a good price-value.

A small paradise in the middle of peking. The people were very friendly and could help us to reserve tickets for the Tiananmen Square. A fantastic tee was offered anytime we came back in the afternoon or evening.

Brilliant newly renovated hotel with impeccable room design and setup, we had a lovely tea party on the terrace overlooking the hutongs which was really special. Staff very nice and helpful, this is truly a luxury hutong experience

Absolutely wonderful interior of old school 四合院. The inside of the hotel rooms are very modern and comfortable with lots of utilities. The service and food were exceptional. One of my favourite stays on the trip!

Literally nothing could have been better, only the weather, it was -15 but despite that we were very well taken care of and the place is well insulated (we were also so grateful, especially my wife, for a heated toilet seat!). Do be aware that you will need to use a translate tool to communicate if you do not speak Chinese, which goes easily enough (and if you do not have translate while travelling in China you're unprepared anyway hah).

This hotel was amazing, the place has such a good vibe to it and I highly recommend it to anyone who is travelling with their partner. The staff where great and took very good care of us, checking in with us whenever we walked by and periodically bringing us hot tea and snacks which were very welcome in the cold weather. If you want an authentic hu-tong experience with ultimate comfort this is the place!

Nothing, everything was perfect and lovely.

The amenities, the house is beautiful, everything is spotless clean, the location, the food…but the best part is the staff. They are lovely and sweet, always ready to help even when we did not speak the same language. They always managed to find a way to communicate with us and help us. And the most comforting thing when coming back to the hotel was being received by them and their amazing soups and tea time <3

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, we had some difficulties to book for some attraction as we didn't have a local phone number and they gladly helped ! There is a free afternoon tea everyday that includes fruits, nuts, cake etc + very good tea, it was a perfect treat after our busy day ! The breakfast was full of chinese specialities The room was cozy and warm for the Beijing's winter - we loved the heated toilet seat ! The location : in a middle of a Hutong - around 10min walk from the nearest subway station and 20min walk to WangFuJing There are restaurants and shops near the hotel I highly recommend this place !

This shop location is superior, from the subway a few hundred meters, to Tiananmen taxi as long as 10 minutes, walk 12 minutes to Wangfujing, the environment is very good Siheyuan, service is also very in place, living experience is super good, small degree of intelligent control of all facilities, his home has breakfast and afternoon tea, very authentic Beijing breakfast and bread milk, afternoon tea has coffee, dessert, There are fruits and Kungfu tea! There is a communal patio in the courtyard and it was nice to have tea on the patio.

The breakfast and dinner in the courtyard in spring, summer, autumn and winter should be worth looking forward to, every day there is a beautiful afternoon tea to eat enough, the service is in place, every day back is very warm and we say hello to come back, not far from the Hutongkou Road, the surrounding business circle, riding more convenient. Would recommend to friends to stay here next time, it's a great place to stay with kids and experience the courtyard atmosphere and free space to move around.
