What we liked less: - Not related to the hotel, but in this season, activities in the heart of Lake Louise are very limited (we wouldn't have wanted to spend a second evening there)

4th stop of our road trip from Calgary to Vancouver, we spent 1 night at Mountaineer Lodge. What we liked: + Considering some reviews, we were apprehensive (noise, disappointing breakfast, etc.). However, our room in the main building was very quiet, and all services were perfect (note that we weren't there in full season). + Beautiful room with very comfortable bedding, well-equipped + Enjoyed the jacuzzi area + More than adequate breakfast + Good value for money + Several great visits nearby, including a walk on frozen Lake Louise and a detour to Morant's Curve + Ideally located for traveling the stunning Icefields Parkway towards Jasper, with many stops along the way (Peyto Lake, Mistaya Canyon Trail, Athabasca Glacier, Sunwapta Falls, Athabasca Falls, and many more)

Not big fan of disposable cups

Spacious parking, nice rooms, great place for hikers. We appreciated the boot driers in the room. Breakfast was good and welcomed. Jacuzzi was awesome after a long day.

Doubt it was really a queen more like a double, there was space for a better size bed. Could see mountain view but had to first see someone’s car parked right outside. Pretty much all hotels are a bus ride from the lake itself but bus stop not far away

Hotel (aware when booked) has no facilities for dinner, nor bar. Limited choice in Lake Louise especially if you do not have a car and roads / pavements covered in snow / ice from recent storm. Limited taxi service in Lake Louise.

Good breakfast, nice recently renovated room, and the hot tub. Close to the Lake Louise shopping area for meals/food. The staff at the hotel were excellent.

Some more space for hanging up clothes would be good. The room temperature was far too warm - would be good if you could adjust the temperature setting to individual preference per room - we ended up having to keep the windows open even at minus 10 outside at night

A nice spacious room with lots of plug and charging cable sockets. Fantastic breakfast with lots of choice and a buffet that was kept very well stocked up. We loved the banana bread, cinnamon buns and of course the waffles! Loved the hot tub and steam room - that really made a difference to tired legs after a day on the slopes! Comfortable beds. Great to have the kettle and fridge in the room. Very helpful staff at reception and very friendly breakfast staff too. The ski boot drying rack in the room was appreciated too. We liked that we could walk out to most of the dining options in LL village. The free shuttle bus to the slopes each morning was very efficient and ran at good regular intervals.

A bit noisy. Breakfast is meh. Pillows are a little too firm. Very expensive.

The rooms are nice, especially the bathrooms. Proximity to the ski resort is unreal and the shuttle is great.
