Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

They must check the bedding when they put it in. Ours was stained. Other than that the bed is comfortable.
The hotel itself is clean and serves good food. The neighbourhood was not for us. It looks dodgy. Not that this affected us as we are never in the hotel.

Although t is the convenient location, the street of the hotel facing is a little unsafe looking.
It's located walking distance to major sites in central region. Breakfast was good.

Wifi is terrible and hardly useable when it’s high season. Reception always seems to be crazily busy, with long queues. Some personnel obviously can mot handle the stress, resulting in unpleasant and rude behaviour as well as not delivering on simple questions.
The facilities are good. There is a gym with new materials. The rooms are quite modern, especially for this price. The bed and shower were very good.

There is a lady at the reception that could be nicer when you are che cking in. Nobody answers the phone when you call the reception. There are no hair dryers available in the rooms. When we arrived there were no towels in the bathroom. I had to go to the reception and ask for them. It took them 40 minutes to send the towels to the room.
Price value. Big room. I did not have breakfast in hotel.

The breakfast could have been better. Instead of having scrambled eggs for a whole week they could have had boiled eggs once, fried eggs another day and scrambled the next and alternate. They could also provide pepper as only salt was available. Wifi in the morning was horrible and could not work properly but early morning and late afternoon it worked well.
The room was very comfortable and location was also great close to main attractions and shops

The hallways on the floors are very dark, not sure why but it feels very shady when you get off the elevator.
The location was really good. It 6 minutes from the famous stairs and easy to uber everywhere from here. Ubers came very quick for the most part. I found the location to be very good and easy, was out late at night and felt comfortable walking around the neighborhood and being on the streets in this area. The breakfast was good, better than I was expecting honestly. Eggs, sausage, breads, little pasty breads, nestle strawberry yogurt, papaya, bananas. The coffee was surprisingly good! The juice was watery to me but not bad. I found the dining hall itself to be very nice compared to what I was expecting. It was clean and nice, especially the outside part. Now to the room. The hallways on the floors are very dark, not sure why but it feels very shady when you get off the elevator. I would recommend getting 2 keys when they ask because the lights do not stay on. You have to insert the room key into this device on the wall in order to keep the electricity running. So having an extra key makes it much more easier incase you need to leave the room or someone is staying in. When we arrived the room was clean, but the sheets were soiled. It has some sort of brown oil looking stain on the pillowcase. I called to have the sheet changed and they did while we were gone but the new sheet was also stained. So I would definitely recommend packing your own sheet and pillow cases. Bathroom was good, hot was was on point. THERE IS NO IRON IN THE ROOM OR IN THE HOTEL AT ALL. This part was disappointing to me, so bring your own travel iron. Check in staff are ok, one guy was nice, however the lady seemed kind of uninterested and takes long. FYI the bottled water is 5 RIOS per bottle they charged me as I was checking out, not sure if that's a legit charge as I never red the pamphlet they put bind the bottles of water, but just something to be aware of.

The apartments do not have a minibar, that is, there is no cold water, the internet is very precarious, for those who use it for work, I do not recommend this hotel and the card to access the apartment is depleted every day, meaning that every day you Go to reception to charge it.

Found weird to pay 30 reais to keep my luggage inside the hotel before my check in. The TV in the room didn't work, you would think they would at least offer you the water to compensate. But no. I didn't find that very elegant. The reception team is not that friendly and is only concerned about making you pay. Won't stay again.
Clean, modern, very well located and nice breakfast. A good hotel.

I stayed there for three days and they didn’t clean my room at all. The room for 3 people were very very small and the bathroom didn’t have a locker in the door, so you didn’t have privacy.
