Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Some things to improve especially my room at Ground floor by the reception had clear and very evident issues with the draining of the shower and of the WC unfortunately.
Very small basic and friendly hotel. Good location especially with a Carrefour, a great Laundry and the Beach both at a stone throw. Nice decor of the rooms for the price and good enough WiFi. Staff super friendly even if only one spoke English or any other language other than Portuguese. Not recommended if you can't understand a word of Spanish or Portuguese.

Internet is really bad only that
Everything was just great. I had just left the Plaza Andrade in the city centre which is awful. Here the reception was great, room cleaned, spare pillows, good blankets, location great and 5 mins walk to a supermarket that has a restaurant, shopping centre 10 mins drive and breakfast, wow!!!! Even lasagna for breakfast. If it’s to say something not good is the internet that isn’t great. I had to go downstairs for it or outside my room, so if you rely heavily on it then it’s an issue at least currently. But everything else exceeded my expectations

only minus is that there is no elevator there, so if you are coming with heavy luggage as I was, you will need to bring it to your room by your self. off course, the staff also helped.
The staff are very helpful and friendly. The place is super easy to get there coming from the airport by car. It is really clean. The breakfast is really fast and you have the option to ask almost anything you want. I stayed there only 1 night and if I need again to stay in Recife I will for sure be there again.

no swimming pool but u have the beach where there are many places to safely swim so no real problem. it is quite a long way from central Recife with all its historic attractions, and old town so u have to decide which part u want to stay in.
it is a boutique style hotel, so no crowds at breakfast or ever…it’s an easy 12 minute walk from Boa Viagem Beach and all its attractions.

Good Breakfast with fresh fruits. Super friendly and helpful staff. Nice comfortable beds, nice rooms. It was an optimal place to stay and visit recife!

The room is very small, we did not have the space to open the luggage, plus the AC is pointing directly at the bed. A bit noisy since there are construction works next door.

We were very disappointed by this hotel. The breakfast is very basic, the breakfast room has no windows and since this room cannot accomodate all guests, one has to book the timeslot for breakfast in advance. The rooms are in poor condition and the facilitities of the hotel as well. The room is also too small. Most importantly, the price was far too expensive for the value.
