The bed was not as comfortable as other hotels. Making strange noice when you move - you wake up because of that. No ventilation, just a toilet exhaust. Strange that some hotels including this still think it is ok to skip ventilation. Couple of times (probably unlucky me) someone from hotel administration/owner was calling reception with questions about bookings etc and administration was prioritised instead of a customer. A bit disappointing to be forced to wait while operational questions are being sorted out. Staff don’t dare to say “I will call back” - management issue. Breakfast quite expensive for the offering. You pay 20 euros. While in some other places lunch buffet costs only 24 euros. Parking - 24 euros a day. You are kidding me :)

I don’t need to have my room serviced every day and my towel changed. Would be nice if there was an opt-out possibility.

It was a modern hotel, located in the city centre. Good as the start of walking around Mechelen. Bed was comfortable, room was good & clean. The hassle-free check-in and check-out was a first for me and I am very pleased about it. Staff were nice and welcoming. It is close to the train station Mechelen Nekkerspoel, but a walk of 20-25 minutes from the main train station of Mechelen.

The room 509 was too noisy on a windy day, because of the circle on the top of the hotel. There is not a information paper in the room (WiFi password, reception number and etc)

Less than 5 minutes to city centre and cathedral. Great view of the cathedral. Nice breakfast and great staff. Amusing notices around the hotel which made us smile - particularly regarding the lift - no spoilers!

Not so sure about all very BLACK (+ some whte) decor and very dim lighting. It IS good to be save- energy-concious, but the hotel public areas /pool seemed very dark. House rules seemed rather whackily phrased.

The pool, very relaxing. Very good location (just off Grote Markt). Generous breakfast with lots of choice. Very omfortable beds and quiet room. Staff member very graciously took on board point about need for technician to attend to non-functioning shower in pool area. Plenty of terraces and garden zones.

The hotel is located in the city center of Mechelen, really near to everything. The staff is very friendly an In the neighborhoud there is a really good bakery "de zotte morgen". Some rooms have a kitchen. The swimming pool is very good.

It’s part of Summer, but there were quite some mosquitoes in our room…. As well, the single beds, were still composed of 2 smaller beds.

Location was super & the staff very friendly, the view on the cathedral from the room is astonishing! The pool was basic, but lovely. The breakfast had a large variety of food.
