Coffee machine didn’t have coffee pods and the phone for concierge didn’t work. Parking is expensive. Champagne provided in room was a lovely gesture for our wedding night however it was not very nice.

Lollo didn’t live up to expectations this time.

I love the pool and gym facilities as well as the boutique style sultry dark rooms and bathroom. Curious is fun and the staff is also exceptional at the W Melbourne.

Only downside was the light on was very dark and my chromecast wasn’t working on the t.v - but that’s not enough to lose points it was just the only negative.

Everything about this stay was amazing and I wish I made the most of the facilities on site. Everything was available for an amazing stay. The room was bigger than I had expected, there was plenty of space and storage for everything.

We wanted an early check-in which I called the previous day to make sure could be accommodated, however the room was not ready when we arrived. We were offered an alternate room, which we accepted, however lost the King Bed that was the original room we had booked.

Service was great, the room was great, facilities were great. Breakfast was great. Had a good time staying, and would do so again.

The hotel had a very hip vibe to it. Very Clean. Service was exceptional. Credits to Lara at the reception for the hospitality and exceptional service. We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate our 10th Year Wedding Anniversary. We loved the attention to detail provided. And added value given. They staff prepared a cake and greeting card and offered complimentary drinks in celebration of our Anniversary. We loved their 24 hour swimming pool which we enjoyed to ourselves during our special day. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely plan to return.

With the amount you pay for the room it would have been nice for parts of the mini bar to be at no charge. The cocktail bar looked amazing but not worth the money to pay for.

Only minor things that we felt was a bit of a let down for a 5 star hotel was, the bar Curious was closed on Monday night which was such a shame as we were really looking forward to seeing it for the first time as we checked out on the Tuesday. We didn't end up using the indoor pool as when we went up there the water was quite cold, which we thought was strange as it's meant to be in use all year round.

Our first time staying at the W Melbourne. We arrived on our wedding night quite late (and wet), staff greeted us immediately. Check in was seamless and quick and we had been notified that the hotel had upgraded us from the cozy room to the wonderful room, which was so kind of them. When we arrived to our room, to our surprise we were greeted with a bottle of champagne on ice and a very detailed and kind written card by Mary from Concierge congratulating us on our wedding. The amentities in the room were nothing short of amazing, there was almost everything there you needed without needing to pack any amenities from home. The bed was large and super comfy, we had a great sleep both nights. The buffet breakfast had a number of options to choose from, which we enjoyed. Although the only thing that let the breakfast down was that the egg options were pre-cooked and sitting there so by the time we took some and sat down they went cold. However this was only a minor thing. Overall we had a lovely stay for our wedding and my husband's birthday celebrations and would definitely stay again.

To be honest, not a lot. I feel like in terms of pricing there is a little room to move but other than that, everything was wonderful!

Location is great, the team were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I personally really like the design and ultra modern layout of everything, Bed was extremely comfy, loved the W Mixbar glassware.

The pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. We were unable to enjoy a full night's rest due to the height of the pillows which was such a shame because the bed itself was great. This was the only negative experience at W Melbourne.

Beautiful interiors and facilities - we particularly loved 24hr pool access. Staff were helpful, prompt to answer all questions and did their best to facilitate special requests. Room service dining was excellent.

The only problem I noticed was that the windows were dirty which doesn’t look good for a 5 star hotel.

Friendly, helpful, professional staff. Great sized room with plenty of towels and pillows provided. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars and public transport. I really enjoyed the hotels delicious buffet breakfast and the beautiful swimming pool.

The room had two double beds one intended for our son and one for my husband and I but they really were on the smaller side so one of us had to share with our child for more room. Other than the beds were comfortable.

The service was fantastic. The staff were so friendly and helpful no matter how busy they were. The glass of sparkling wine during check in was a lovely bonus. We had room service for breakfast and it was delicious. The buffet breakfast while on the pricier side was fantastic. Our 8 year old who is usually picky found so much food he loved.

However there 2 thing that would have made my stay exceptional: The bedspread was a little rough on the skin, not soft enough to my liking and other hotels ive been. That definitely a big factor for me and my husband as it incorporates to a good night sleep. The Pool could have been a little warmer to really enjoy an indoor pool in adults hours or even better had a Jacuzzi. This would have made the area more popular and people would have stayed longer and thus using the bar more which could be a plus for the hotel revenue.

Everything was perfect, beautiful vibrant hotel from the amazing smiling customer service, dancing vibe bedroom, to the sophisticated bathroom with little touches that made the difference compare to other hotels, amazing toilet jet which i personally find delighting, swimming pool area and ambiance.
