The pool does tend to get very crowded. Conferences are run close to the pool which can get quite loud.

Great aesthetic, wonderful food and an amazing pool! Staff went over and above to make our stay extra special.

Love the Calile, there is so much to love ! Location, neighbourhood restaurants & shops. The hotel is unique in itself with its gorgeous décore, rooms & their facilities 😀, restaurants, spa, pool… 10/10 Very upmarket 😀 but a lovely casual feel to it also.

the rooms look better on photos than in real life: they seem a bit (too) cold overall and in parts lack the quality we expected (e.g. what seemed to be a natural stone floor turned out to be plastic). we do not think that booking a terrace room is worth an extra charge at this hotel.

the buzz around the the calile is high - as is the price tag. and therefore our expectations. the hustle and bustle around the pool and at the lobby bar did not disappoint. we in particular also enjoyed our coffees and drinks at the lobby bar, which is run by hands-down the most attentive and friendly staff you could wish for. other highlights included the well-equipped gym and the generous walk-in shower in our room.

Unfortunately we were presented with heavy rain for two whole days. The sun appeared on the day we checked out. Our entire trip was based around a very young ones enjoying their first holiday in hotel with a pool. We requested a late check out which understandably was not available. We however were shocked to find that the kids not continue to swim and enjoy the pool for additional hour post check out. I do not see the harm in letting them, given my partner and I would have continued to spend money at the pool restaurant and bar. Of which we ended up doing in their lobby bar as we waited to get an Uber to airport.,

Huge rooms, lovely amenities, friendly staff + fun location!

The cost of the room is substantial, and doesn’t include parking. Wifi didn’t seem to work either, at the pool or in the room.

The welcome map, and attentiveness of the porter. The location, the pool and the room robe.

Unfortunately the pool area was packed so took awhile to get a lounger and staff never cleaned up used glasses/towels of people who had left. Not enough towels and challenging to relax in the pool when it was so busy/felt cramped.

Great location and helpful staff during check in/out. Lovely comfortable room with completely black out blinds. Breakfast in the café in the morning was tasty and restaurant staff were prompt.
